It was a battle of volume on the floor of the Democratic National Convention this afternoon.
As Tim Kaine’s name was put into nomination, opponents began chanting “roll call vote” as a way to stymie the process.
In reaction, CNN reports, DNC organizers simply cranked up the music to drown out the dissenters
CNN reporter Jeff Zeleny says delegations from Louisiana, Colorado and Delaware chanted, “roll call, roll call,” as Kaine’s nomination was whisked through on a voice vote.
Zeleny says the Clinton supporters were temporarily “overwhelmed” by the dissenters because many had not yet taken their seats.
So organizers turned up the music to delay and cover the critics.
He noted there was still a sense of “question” about Kaine as the vice presidential nominee.

Have they got anything on trump - this is all old rhetoric. Surely they have something else?
He'll come up with something new all on his own next time he speaks.
