No doubt those brave men and women who ran into the buildings on the morning of 911, and their families, should be taken care of.

But what about the others who drove in several days later, with proper equipment and aware of the dangers?

What of the union lawyers, trying to squeeze as much money out as possible for frivolous side-claims.

The Democrat's bills sought to cover all those people, not just the true First Responders.

I fully admit I have not looked into the issue at all. I had thought that I had heard something like responders were told there was no chemical exposure, and then later got serious illnesses. If this is untrue or people are just cashing in, its despicable. However, I can not comment on it until I read up on it more.
