You know, we all know political parties are BS theatrics, but I do feel sorry for those of you who can't make the transition and just enjoy this for what it is.

PS: Superdelegates have been a fact of the party organization since 2008. Every Democrat knows it and signed up for it. Bernie hasn't been in the party that long ... but he knew how it worked too.

What? Weren't you the person on the RNC thread saying Trump and all of his supporters are fascists that are worse than the Nazi's? Now you have the nerve to tell people on this thread to just enjoy this.

Yeah, I'm a nervy sort of guy.

As far as the political falderol, we all have different tastes, don't we?

You like one brand, I prefer the other.

It's like arguing about vanilla or chocolate.

We cannot forget about the stark contrasts between the two party's message.

GOP: Division, fear and yes, fascism.

DNC: Diversity, equality and social progress.

Or

RNC : jobs , prosperity and saftey
DNC : racial politics, poverty and war

Depends on how you look at it

True. Some people find fascism to be a good thing as long as they get a job in the regime. Prosper away...

Ugh. She is going to go over soon.
I have this feeling of impending doom.

Gore didn't show up.

He is a superdelegate.

Interesting.

Gore and Hillary have never gotten long as far back as when Gore was Bill's VP.

anyone know what the count would be if there weren`t super delgates?

Clinton would have still won with no super delegates

She would have also won if they were under GOP rules

Congrats to Hillary, moment in history.

This is sweet watching the states all cast their votes, I liked this part in both conventions, people proud of their states casting their vote, very inspiring .

Ironic, that there are votes being counted now when someone might have died due to votes not being counted earlier.

Odd how the Clintons seem to be linked to people who end up dead in suspicious circumstances; and I've never really jumped on the "body train" bandwagon. I'm not fond of riding around in the carts of others anyway. But damned if the one referenced in the thread linked above in this post doesn't have a high stink factor.

I don't know about y'all ... but I think HIllary just may win this thing.

Good choice to do the roll-call; makes everything clear and above board.

Clear and above board? You gotta be f'n kidding after the DWS scandal.

I'm glad it's no cake walk for her.

VT passes on the vote.

Bernie still has to speak at the end.

I've known Trump supporters, and Bernie supporters... I have yet to meet an inspired Hillary supporter.

Trust me we are out there.

Some us just don't like arguing with brick walls.

Wow.... I didn't know it actually existed...

So in your mind, it's a choice between selling out to Russia or selling out to Saudi?

That's not much of a choice, huh?

There's a double standard on this site when it comes to which conspiracy theories to believe and not to believe.

We are to believe that Hillary rigged the election, even though in the emails that were leaked there is no proof at all.

We are NOT to believe that Putin has his hand up Trumps ass. Even though his closest advisors have close ties to the Kremlin and it has been verified that Russian intelligence hackers stole the DNC's research on Trump and were the ones to pass on the hacked emails to wikileaks.

And you would have us believe the Russians hacked the DNC but did not hack Hillaries servers.

And if you believe that Trump has Russian backers, how about the person closest to Hillary, Huma Abedin, having connections to terrorism financiers and the Saudi Government. The same government that has been giving Clinton's foundation money. Surely if you believe Trump is close to Putin, you think Clinton is even closer to terror and the Saudis.

And the emails did show that there was collusion between the media and the DNC to help Clinton, and that the DNC workers including the chair disliked Hillary's opponent and were trying to rig it against Bernie. We know things like media coverage and the debate schedule heavily favored Clinton, and she still barely beat Bernie.

Also, the most vocal people that are claiming it was rigged against Bernie are his supporters, most of which have no love for Trump. You know what they think about Putin perhaps being behind the leak? They don't care because the party they trusted screwed them over!

Thats your take on the party messages, and your entitled to your opinion.

I would like to point out that a message is one things, actions are another. Hillary for example has had a message of going after big banks for a long time, yet her actions are giving private speeches to them and taking boat loads of money from them. The message is diversity, yet their internal communications make racial jokes and jokes about peoples sexuality. They have a message of fighting corruption, yet they did everything in their power to rig the primary for their person.
