The dead man they suggest was the shooter...should be identified soon. That will tell more about motive.

The suspected dead has a backpack. So they plan to send a robot to research him first, because they don't dare to go close to him like that.

Because we always fear the worst, and we exteriorize those fears. The media is not exempt.

Shepard Smith is one of the strangest people in American media to me. He is like a weird robot that is malfunctioning. I just can't take ANYTHING he says seriously.

The cop said live on tv several minutes ago that people the whole time call the police and report shootings from different parts of munich.

So you have multiple reports coming in from different areas, shooters seem to always move and they sort of have to treat all the reports as credible in case they are until things calm down.

Eyewitnesses are notoriously not accurate (which is pretty understandable).

To me it's just the media drumming it up for more views and not stressing the unconfirmed part.

My guess is that they will identify the dead shooter as a 'Hans' rather than a 'Mohammad'.

Where did they find the possible suspect's body, have they said

I do fear though that the lone wolf idea is incorrect.

A big fear. Like I said earlier: Friday night; Munich club scene; Possibilities are horrific.

I hope I am wrong.

Shepherd Smith is one of the only people at Fox News that has a sense of journalistic integrity and decency.

So the idea is a German who hates foreigners killed Germans while yelling I hate foreigners?

That makes no sense to me, if correct.

Initial reports in situations like this are often confused , people are on edge.
As we saw recently with the Dallas shooting it was reported there were several gunmen when in reality there was just one.

I think peoples were phoning and reporting the same shots from different areas around..

That could just be because any other shooters already got away, and the other couldn't get out so he offed himself.

But, that's speculation.

If they wanted to target people at clubs, they started about six hours too early though. I don't think there will be many people at the clubs tonight.
