Pretty quiet so far. Some officers became sick after a sticker was put on their bodies.

nothing so far today but there`s this from yesterday:

Cleveland police on Wednesday made 18 arrests and reported that two officers had been assaulted after a protester attempted to light an American flag on fire outside the security barrier surrounding the Republican National Convention, authorities said.“You’re on fire! You’re on fire, stupid,” an officer could be heard yelling when the man who tried to start the blaze had his leg briefly catch fire.He was arrested for assaulting an officer, Williams said during an evening news conference, after trying to bat away police seeking to douse the flames.

The dude acidently set himself on fire and didn`t know it, when the police tried to put the fire out he attacked them and got arrested.

Is anyone in the know about why they request for landline calls? I listen to the scanner frequently around home and never hear this. Is it common as well?

Possibly because a long conversation would clutter the radio otherwise.

Today was funny, though.

“Okay, there’s some guys running a trailer full of unknown bottled liquid.”

“It’s water.”

Then later...

“Okay, some lady has a jar of unknown substance.”

“It’s pickles.”

And...

“There’s a black man with an afro, large backpack, all-black. Somebody check him out.”

“He’s FBI.”

Landline specific is just weird in todays age, but ah well, I'll go with that for now.

Yea lots of goofy stuff, nothing of significance however. Fireworks at 11 !

you can ingest ( is that the right word?) acid through the skin. So putting it on a sticker and sticking it to a person who doesn't know that it's on there would definitely make them feel "sick", and or cause skin irritation.

hmmm Just a thought.
