What was the first song you listened to 1 million times?
Mine was this:
Tocotronic - Das Geschenk

Advice, turn the volume up really loud, light a candle, sit back and enjoy!

Before I had "The temptation of the rock and roll chord E" in me there was this little song...

Steve Martin - King Tut

But then my neighbor turned twelve (?? or thirteen??) and asked me to bring some music to his party. So TEOT goes out and buys:

Blue Oyster Cult - Some Enchanted Evening
Judas Priest - Unleashed in the East
AC/DC - Highway to Hell

And has been all downhill since then! Beers, cigarettes, fast chicks, fast cars, loud guitars, drugs, parties, five alarm hangovers, STDs, liver failure, waking up dead! You know the drill!

JK! But was my first step to a wider audio experience. Thank you Steve Martin!

Never heard of the kinks before... you may telepathically slap me in the face for that.
Sounds like the beatles?

Wow! Never heard of the Kinks? You are just pulling our collective leg now, huh?

The roots of modern rock and roll. The Kinks, The Who, The Rolling Stones. Definitely not the Beatles!

Standing in the middle of nowhere
Wondering how to begin
Lost between today and tomorrow
Between now and then

Ray Davies (prophet), The Kinks, Word of Mouth, 1984, Back Where We Started

Self Bias Resistor by Fear Factory-Gotta love that palm muting and double bass peddles. I bet 50 stars that no one online right now has heard that song.

Now I have the strong feeling you're from Texas or Arizona, grew up on a farm, picture you as you water the cows dispersing dust with each step, a casual straw in the corner of your mouth, sweat glistening on your naked chest...

I watched the ozzbournes. I pictured him to be a super wild bad ass performer, biting bats their heads of, but he just stands there?
