The US UK would take each others side even if it were the last side to take. France Germany lol, thank you guys for your concern

The French fight for there own self interest and its not in there interests to have a nuclear armed Turkey.

They would join on our side.

Germany I guy is the wild card. Who who with Mad Merkal at the helm....

Anyone know what percentage of Merkel's base is made up of ethnic Turk Germans? I guess you could add in recent arrivals from mid east to that too. How much political power and percent of population would that be?

I'd like to think we've already evacuated the weapons from there, at least the cores. I imagine enough termite and c4 could obliterate the rest of the weapons if needed.

The only way you'll see a nuclear Turkey is if the build them themselves. Using the ones stationed there is not an option. If a ragtag group took Kentucky, that doesn't mean they have access to Fort Knox.

I think the outcome of this will depend on who is President and giving the orders to stand down or take the nukes out. There are several countries that are considered sympathetic to radical Islam that have nukes. Frankly, I see a limited nuclear war in our future.

Several countries that possess nuclear weapons who are sympathetic to Islam? Pakistan(questionable) ..... May we have a list of who else?

India
Pakistan
North Korea (while not a "pro" Islamic country is very anti-American and would help Islam)

India and Pakistan are mortal enemies, India is Hindu. Pakistan has more interest in western cooperation than radical Islam. And North Korea is not an Islamic sympathizer, two entities who share a common enemy do not make them friends. That and look at a satellite images of North Korea at night and tell me they're in a position to play geopolitics.

Your statement shows more validity that you cynically want Islamic sympathetizers to possess nukes for doom porn interests than it actually having a place in reality.

Then why are there so many radical Islamists in India and Pakistan?

Threat of Radical Islam in India

As the Muslims seek to control from within, the crisis of nukes coming into their hands in India increases.

Only a few days ago a noted Muslim cleric right in Lucknow openly called for preparing a five lakh strong “army” of Sunni Muslim youngsters from India to join the international jihad to be supported by Saudi Arabia. Days have passed, nothing has been done to stop such appeals.

If Pakistan isn't a concern then why is the Pentagon concerned?

The Pentagon's Secret Plans to Secure Pakistan's Nuclear Arsenal

By hiding its nuclear weapons from Washington, Pakistan has made them much more vulnerable to jihadists. In response, the Pentagon has devised secret plans to secure the Pakistani arsenal -- by force if necessary (see GSN, Nov. 8).

There is a threat of radicals gaining nuclear weapons a number of ways. It's wise to not let that happen.

i'm sure russia is waiting for turkey to go too far eagerly, those sea lanes and/or restoring either orthodox or greek control is something they would really love to see.

And you have finally two possibilities listed for what could happen. Either Turkey could expel the US and NATO and take the nukes for itself making for a nuclear armed Muslim nation precipitating an arms race in the MIddle East. How long then before Iran takes to show up with its own nukes after that?

Or you have the possibility that a terror operation mounts a successful attack on the base and manages to take one for itself. The US forces are cut off and demoralized at the moment and the Turkish forces are also in some disarray.

I think before that happens Turkey will be turned to glass, it would be Europe or Russia that would do it, or both

nobody is going to take those nukes BUT the U.S......don't f with us

There are radical Muslims in the US, so should I put us in the Islam sympathizers with nukes category? Listen I'm truly sorry to shoot down your theory, but on the plus side (for you I suppose) , we're in closer tensions with Russia than the cold war, and China is a big possibility soon. But painting a narrative that there are nations with nukes that would use them for the side of Islam is hardly a measurable reality.

I think everyone should give this a quick read to help them relax about worries related to this air base...

PAL

I am quite critical about the competency about many aspects of our Government, but I have numerous friends and family that have extensive knowledge about these types of things, and I am really not worried about these nukes getting into the wrong hands...

I have a very firm belief that this will be our next Iraq. Before long, you will be reading news headlines about US, Nato, Allies or all of the above will make their move on Turkey under the guise of the current dictatorship pulling genocide.

Watch... It's going to happen and it's not far off.

There are no doubt forces, both in Catholic/Protestant NATO and in Orthodox Russia that would love to "Make Istanbul Constantinople Again". However, unless Erdogan gets really barbaric, or Putin sees a once in a century opportunity to tasty to pass up, I don't see that happening. Western leadership is weak in Germany, US, and France. UK remains to be seen.

Quite frankly, YES! With Obama putting Muslim Brotherhood in key powerful position within the government, we should be alarmed. We have a Muslim officer who killed a bunch of soldiers on a base. Imagine if they had keys to our nukes! Imagine if the President were a Muslim who really sympathized with them. So, yes, we should keep all Muslims out of positions that give them access to nukes. We should be concerned with weak nations that are inundated with extremist Muslims as well. At least the Pentagon agrees with me.

even if all 48,800 of those people were involved there hasn`t been enough time to investigate 48,800 people and prove they were involved,it`s obvious now that this whole thing was staged by erdagon.

No singular person has the ability to make a move like that. I understand the lack of faith for our world but make no mistake, we do have examples of systems that work. And the ability to end the world isn't as simple as a rogue American, and rag tag terrorists can't just go to the base in Turkey with bolt cutters and take those nukes. Even if they could they would be close to worthless to them.

Or you've got some other options that are very much more likely:

3) Turkey somehow gets their hands on them, tries to arm them, and the PALs safe the bombs irreversably. Tha-tha-tha-that's all folks!

4) There's been flights out since Erdogan did his thing. If they've got weapons mechanics on hand, the likelihood that the physics packages have been dismounted and flown out: close to 100%.
