I feel bad how the press is going after a woman like Melania Trump but then I remember how Donald Trump went after Rosie O'Donnell and Megyn Kelly, perhaps Donald Trump's chickens have come home to roost!!!

when you can't attack the issues, when you can't attack the message. . . .

Attack the messenger.

We'll see this much more before the election.

Well see, "Hillary's position on this policy is unrealistic", and the reply will be "Melania is a whore."

It's an attempt to turn the conversation to insults instead of substance.

Because Trump had always responded to his critics with well thought out logical arguments. Never once had he resorted to an ad hominem of any kind.

Hillary is a criminal and has blood on her hands. She can't be trusted with issues of national security. There is nothing positive that can be said about her. Also, she and her husband have extorted massive amounts of money with their charity from the poor nations.

So your point null and void in all ways.

Also, Trump apparently used the same speech writer as his opposition, Cruz's, think something just occurred on purpose, but it backfired.

TRUMP is in and Hillary will not win this one. In fact there is still hope she'll be behind bars.

Did Hillary Clinton Plagiarize President Obama During 2016 Announcement Speech?

Seems they all have lazy speech writers!

no, we're attacking "the message" in this case. she lied about writing the speech and she lied about graduating college. someone in the trump camp thought the American public wouldn't notice, but we did. again, goes to show the trumps camp is incompetent.

While I have to disagree on the point of his attractiveness ( I don't go in for dudes), yes a lot of the hate initially came from him being in a position of influence. On the other hand, a lot more has been directed at him due to taking actions not in the best interest of the nation at large....but this is about Mrs trump.

It makes zero sense at all...

I hope someone here can shed some light on this....

You don't remember Palin-hate? Caribou Barbie? Melania will be treated like that without the Caribou.

In politics, misogyny is a free-for-all for democrats & republicans. Neither side leads by example, so if you are down for calling Hillary Clinton a c*nt, b*tch, witch, don't be surprised when the other side does it, too. And vice versa.

Besides, Michelle has gotten her fair share of it.

The only way to change things is to lead by example.

but, to say the flack mrs. trump is getting is from jealousy and not because she's lied is disingenuous. we should hold her to even a higher standard if there's a possibility of her becoming first lady. I do feel sorry for her in a way regarding the speech because someone should have caught the plagiarism. but, lying about graduating college, that's unacceptable.

A lot of the speech was word-for-word. We all know politicians (and their spokespeople) have speechwriters, so it really shouldn't be a big surprise.

I really want to know how you define " A lot" because it was 30 seconds out of a 17 minute speech. I think your bias is showing.

But I also think Trump's wife is seen as a spoiled bimbo with not very much to offer, in comparison with Michelle Obama who has umteen different degrees from Ivy league schools, is self-made, well-spoken, intelligent, etc.

So, a woman such as Melania who speaks 5 languages, built a life in a new country with a successful modeling and business career is some how less intelligent than Michelle? umpteen different degrees? You are wildly exaggerating in both negatives on Melania and pros for Michelle. Michelle has 2 degrees. I read her thesis, and by that piece for writing it appears to me she skated without proving her worth in school. My 17 year old high school student writes many levels above Michelle Obama.

I think a lot of it just comes down to the fact that Michelle Obama has a lot more respect by the public and the Trumps in general are not looked at in the same light.

My my my, you liberals must be in a panic. I hear the senators are panicked over Hillary's terrible numbers and are worried about their own future, let alone hers. America is fed up with this bs presented at reporting to us. We are sick and tired of the lies, twisting of facts, double standards, and down right rudeness towards female conservatives. November can't get here fast enough for me.

On one point we can agree, this particular incident is somewhat worthy of flak. However in general Mrs trump, like Mrs Obama; has been receiving absolute hate and vitriol for quite some time - for no other reason than jealousy.

Fine. But I've seen people calling her a whore that should go back to doing porn.

Stay classy, San Diego!

Imagine if the left had a video showing Melania's junk moving in her pants. It would be Chris Matthew's lead story:

but, how do you feel about the lie that she graduated college? why lie about something that can so easily be checked? why would the trumps team throw her under the bus like that?

I gotta laugh at all the outrage. lol.

Good for you, did you figure it out on your own?

And speaking of incompetence, I don't think Melania is worth all this negative energy people are putting into her.

She's not running for anything and probably won't be telling people "we are the president"
