BOO!

Hey, if the stores can be this early, so can I. LOL

Hello night shift!

Kaelci, how'd your recipe come out? I've been on either a chicken francaise or chicken piccata type kick lately. There is a crock pot chicken recipe everybody loves where you use cream of mushroom soup and bacon added to chicken breasts or cutlettes.

Hello Wolfie, Q, and Dave if you are all still around!

I should have called you because I was surfing to the right of the pier at 3:00pm.

I would have called him! LOL, I love to make Dave blush. Just being playful. I'm an innocent elf, really I am.

I absolutely shall!

You and Night both just said chicken... did I link the right page? Oh well! I have some prawns and a basa fillet. Basa because it's the easiest fish I've ever cooked with, not. one. teensy. bone. I love it. And, will document it all in a few hours!
If I manage to make it look pretty, might actually pop it in Augustus' food porn thread. Mmmmm. Haven't contributed there since my birthday pikelets. Must remedy such things.

*waves and hugs the Elfie* Oh, I'm not cooking it yet... sitting back, relaxing, refreshing ATS like a madwoman while writing another Shed story. Just had a knock at the door too! A book I ordered a few days ago just arrived! I bought it because a chapter from it was written in another thread, and I thought it was absolutely beautiful, I just -had- to get the whole work.

Kahlil Gibran - The Madman: His Parables and Poems

I will have to indulge in it later

Oh! Cream of Mushrom soup!!!!!!!!! That stuff is AMAZING on pork chops! Oh gosh, it's the only way I eat pork chops now, I haven't experimented with new pork chop recipes at all once I discovered this one.

I've been on a cooking kick lately overall, introducing my son to new tastes. He loves it all thankfully. Think he was getting bored of mince and pasta or sausage and potato. Don't blame him.

Ok, back to writing!

I don't have the actual recipe, I just throw one of those big cans or a few smaller ones of the campbles mushroom soup, add slices of bacon maybe 5 or 6 pieces and either skinned and boned chicken breasts or cutlets all together in the pot and cook on high for 4 hours. Some people also add sour cream. Up to you.

Oh I remember Kahil Kabran or whatever his name is. Been many years since I have read anything by him, I remembered being impressed.

I was going to write earlier, but backed myself into a corner and not sure how I want to proceed just yet. Perhaps later I'll throw something together.

Oh darn, I was sooo looking forward to causing mayhem. Guess I better not.

I can't wait to lose all this humidity - work has a "no shorts" policy even for us developers. I hate pants in the summertime!

Got a few potential dates this week, but I'm most curious about meeting someone that's coming out this way in a couple weeks (not from a dating perspective though; rather, meeting and greeting).

Well aren't you Mr. Popular lately? LOL! Must be the sheddite in you.

In September or October I will start looking for paranormal lectures or something of the sort that is affordable and fascinating.

I must share this little anecdote.
A couple years ago I found what I perceived a pleasant job in a little newly started café/restaurant type place. Lovely owners, my only concern apart from the rotten wages was that they promoted the place as haunted and held séances, card readings, ghost seminars and what not. But I figured it wouldn't affect me.
Was I wrong
They were so obsessed with the well being of "their" ghosts that certain people were discouraged from entering the building.
Any way one day I over heard one of the owners discuss with a customer how they had to "get rid of" an employee because the ghosts disapproved of the persons presence.
I quit and told them why.
I was deeply involved in the occult for many years, since early adolescence, so I am no novice in that sense, but I prefer to not deal with it.
