It's pandering emotionalism. I am saddened for the mother's loss. I am repulsed seeing that young man's life used as a political pawn.

Actually, that mother should be ashamed of herself. She let herself be used as a political tool and used her son's death was the means to do it. She made certain pauses after key statements waiting for crowd approval.

Quite sad.
