Robertson was really good, Baio was down to earth and got to the point - great speech.

Marcus Luttrell is awesome.
I don't know whether to cry or stand up and cheer.

I don't know who the guy is that is speaking right now but he just had a great line:

For any life to matter, all lives have to matter.

Simply put.

Marcus Latrelle is very nervous but speaking from the heart.

He's nervous and having a hard time keeping up with the teleprompter. He also looks hung over.

He was real though.
This feels real.

I always cringe when the Right invokes the name of god.

Yeah because we know it's a total propaganda tool.

It's why emails scams always end with God bless...

They said "one nation under God" in the Pledge of Allegiance" tonight.

Wonder what they'll do at the DNC next week?

Lots of religious people are in the Democrat delegate ranks.

Well, we should know by now that there is not much difference between the two parties. You both have a lot in common.

Congrats.

He said himself that it wasn't. It was scripted.

And I thought I was going to cry before...

Pat Smith, Mother of Benghazi victim, Sean Smith

If anyone can listen to this and not despise Hillary Clinton, they have no heart.

"If Hillary Clinton can't give us the truth, why should we give her the Presidency"

That is it right there.

Ya, it's pretty sad. I feel for the woman, but her delivery was #ty and to use her as a political tool, as well as her son's death, is pretty low.

Even more so considering the Benghazi committee cleared Hillary of any wrongdoing.

ETA: I think that was one of the most beautiful renditions of our National Anthem that I have ever heard.

That Roy Orbison MiniMe can really belt it out.

Good line...

"Being American is not about getting free stuff"

Nope it's about uniting and being willing to put your money where your mouth is, for the betterment of all Americans. Willing to take a tax hit on yourself, so that those in need can be provided food and healthcare. Being American means caring for your fellow Americans. And when people come here out of desperation, fleeing a violent country for the promise of safety and opportunity, it's about recognizing those people as us. People who came here for those same reasons. Except they're not coming to exterminate us and take over-- they come to live in peace with us. Empathy is key. We're supposed to represent the best of humanity and the hope for the world--- not lower ourselves to the level of our worst enemies at times of war.

Too many people have forgotten what it means to be American.

Am I the only one that hears a fife?

Say something about the american farmer, Mr. Douglas!

lol.

Please, spare the tears.

Americans have done more for the world than any other country.
