What's wrong with aspiring? You know, like the entire decade of the 50s? Not that I personally aspire to ride around in a helicopter but I definitely do not begrudge people their own personal symbols of achievement.

No. I have no idea what I would be like if I was rich. To me that story showed a human side, a caring side of Donald Trump. He took the time to do something nice for a child with no thought about getting something from him. He basically told that child "Your father is a great man." What kid doesn't idolize their father and is happy that other people recognize that? I'm sure for that kid, it was a big deal. Donald could have just over looked a doorman. Instead, he knew the man by name and gave a gift to that child.
