But one of the more underrated aspects of this, that not many discuss, is the growing number of women in America who are carrying firearms now and that number is growing. Cox, a spokesperson for the NRA, said that number is around 1.5 million and growing by the day. More women than people think will support Trump, regardless of what people think about Trump and women. Clinton isn't gonna gobble up women voters like some people think she will.

There is a lot of praise for Trump's family right now, and he is getting some credit for it (even from the likes of CNN last night).

It is therefore not surprising, post the convention last night, to see the usual suspects try to undermine it. All of Clinton's campaign team, paid or not, will be hard at it today to try and undermine regardless of what is true or not.

Trump didn't use the Oval office for his personal porn stage at least.

Yeah she kind of has to doesn't she?

These are public faces. Try to remember that.

Insiders say she's pissed that the kids had so much to say about the choice of Mike Pence while she was not allowed to contribute. WOW

Women vote on multiple issues like everyone else. In the primaries we heard a lot about women's negative view of Trump, but actually he won the women's vote against all his competitors. These were Republican women of course. It remains to be seen how many independents, men and women, land on his side. So far he is winning with independents.

Women arming themselves dosen't translate into support for the Donald. My lady has a CCW who is a blatant feminist and Lib. As does my mother a Baptist, Republican, Conservative that thinks Trump is creepy.
Clintons advantage with women is that Pense wants to trash Roe v Wade. That little tidbit has lost elections for the GOP before. That isn't gonna change.

Minorities in the November election will vote in astonishing numbers this time that have never voted before. They are deathly afraid of Trump!! As will millennials. Might not be as close as you think.

Indeed.
I like the romantic notion that the Clinton's stayed together through thick and thin, but suspect it was for political and financial reasons.

No we won't. Do you think that only republicans carry guns? An increase in women owning guns does not indicate they would vote for trump.

Donald Trump obviously did a great job with them and its also a credit to both him and Ivana that they worked together after a divorce to do what's right for their kids. Many divorced couple struggle with that and end up hurting their kids development.

From what I understand from Ivana's comments, Donald didn't have much to do with raising the kids.

I think what the convention showed is that the Trump family are a great example for America.

Not really. 3 wives, one allegedly claiming to have been raped by Donald, only to be silenced by the divorce settlement. The same wife claiming to have raised the kids and handed them over after they were done with their education. Add to that the fact that he has presents himself as a modern George Wallace, I don't think they are an example to be proud of.

Neither candidate is a good role model or example of family values.

But what I said does translate to more support for Trump. Trump is pro-gun, Hillary isn't. That is pretty much all that needs to be said there.

I always thought that too, but that is assuming and assuming is not a good practice.

They look together and stronger on the outside. That is what I have to go by.

Bill was a good president, he was a perve (in my opinion) but as a president I love him. I think affairs are disgusting but it is also human. If I judged everyone bc of their mistakes I would have no friends and my life would be void of humanistic flavor and optimism.

Being married 3 times also disgusts me. Melania can say all she wants that he is dependable to his family but its obvious that she is his 3rd wife...that cannot be hidden. I am not assuming when I say..."but you are his 3rd wife, how honest and dependable was he to his first 2?"

Perhaps we should discuss the elephant in the room. Trump has the overwhelming support of white people but the American demographic has changed. For Trump to win the general election, some how he needs to over come his distrust from minorities and especially Hispanics. I don't think generating hate and fear can do it. It may endear him to his white conservative base but is still a losing proposition.

Firstly you are missing the relationship he has with his grand kids which we got some information on last night.

Secondly, his kids have already said they were with him at the office from a very young age (before their teens). He also has a son with Melania and is in the process of raising him.

There is no doubt that he has invested a lot of time in his children. People don't stop learning or no longer need a father when they are 20.

Divorce happens. People grow apart and make mistakes, just part of life.

The bottom line is that his kids seem to adore the guy and that was evident in statements before he ran for President.

Just like Trump's great business achievements his family is a big strength. You are going to have to put in some overtime to try and dampen the feeling America is getting that Trump has done a great job with his children.

He doesn't have overwhelming support of white people, he has the overwhelming support of uneducated white sheeple.

Big difference.
