The shadowy figure and the old man sat down for a friendly chat;" So this was your plan?" The old man asked;" The shadowy figure looked questioning;" I never had a plan, God has one and none of us is God.. They fought for thousands of years for freewill, give them that and any prophecy is fulfilled by our original sins.. This world is not complex, it never was.."

The old man smiled;" You let them play their own game without interfering and you knew their choice.. "

The old man looked at the shadowy figure and asked;" How do you think it will end" And the shadowy figure smiled and said;" No one knows, that is the beauty of freewill, but the winner will follow the law"
