He also claimed in one of his videos to be a Christian as well as a former member of the Nation of Islam.

The perfect cover.

Who should believe he was sincere after today?

Thats the suspect?

I think he's saying that he accepts individual responsibility for his actions?

IMHO, more people should be treated as individuals as opposed to "members of a group".

Kind of like when theres a multiple victim public shooting, we blame all gun owners.

Or when a Moslem commits a crime, we blame an entire religion.

Putting the whole "U.S.-Racism" thing aside for a second...

Did anyone notice the abrupt change from "lighthearted" travelling pictures and videos from Egypt, Uganda and Ghana to suddenly only videos about police violence / power abuse after his return to the U.S.?

(heavy change of focus to negativity)

Maybe somebody notched him up a few levels on the radical scale.

I wonder what his tox report will show.

When did he serve his tour oversees as part of the military?

Before or after his time in Africa?

He joined the Marines with 16 and got E-5 until 21 and went to Africa afterwards for 2 years apparently.

I can agree with that. Now if we could just get the politically-partisan to agree as well.

ATS is super wonky for me today. I think I've double posted 3x today and maybe 5 times over the course of my membership other than today.

Ok, so that means we cannot believe he is connected to either the Nation of Islam or Christianity.

How does that help your propaganda agenda?

Some of it is my connection too. Stupid wireless hangs up for no reason is part of it. Then I get impatient and it all goes down hill from there.

From your link:

He promotes a book he wrote and discusses black liberation ideology.

Black liberation theology......now where have we heard about that? Yep. Jeremiah Wright's church, the one Barack and Michelle attended for 20 years, and the man that married them.

The Marxist Roots of Black Liberation Theology

Black Liberation Theology actually encourages a victim mentality among blacks. John McWhorters' book Losing the Race, will be helpful here. Victimology, says McWhorter, is the adoption of victimhood as the core of one's identity

Black Liberation Theology, originally intended to help the black community, may have actually hurt many blacks by promoting racial tension, victimology, and Marxism which ultimately leads to more oppression. As the failed "War on Poverty" has exposed, the best way to keep the blacks perpetually enslaved to government as "daddy" is to preach victimology, Marxism, and to seduce blacks into thinking that upward mobility is someone else's responsibility in a free society.

Looks like that is making a comeback.

Good point, and "on topic".
