Today Is My 7th Anniversary Here

I just thought I would let you all know that I have been a member here for seven years today.
I have made some friends and have made a few enemies.I have enjoyed all of you in one way
or another over these years.
I slept in way too late this morning and now I am off to fix breakfast for me and my hubby.
I will appreciate any thoughts and posts you should happen to post here.

7 years seems to be quite an accomplishment here.

A lengthy membership in a site such as this with such a high amount, IMO, of political content where emotions tend to run high and volatility and jibes seem to take over what could be very rational discussions is quite an accomplishment.

So many members (friends and acquaintances) have 'fallen by the wayside' and choose not to participate anymore or have turned in their membership cards either by choice or had them revoked.

to 7 more years!

It is hard to believe that I have been a member here for seven years now.
This site was brought to my attention by my son,who is also a member here.
I checked this place out to make sure he wasn't posting things that would
have the law come pounding on our front door looking for him.I saw the
many topics featured here and joined that same day.

The mother/son connection is interesting. My situation is the other way around, sort of.

My oldest daughter reads over my shoulder quite often or I just stay logged in for her to read. She just won't sign up for her own account. I'm still not really sure why and the only explanation she gives is 'that's your thing'.

I look at her and say 'but you're reading it anyway!'

Oh well, my youngest isn't too interested or conspiracy minded, yet.

They will occasionally ask me what the folks on ATS are 'saying' about a particular current event.

Since I am drifting off topic, Congratulations again on your 7 years!

Aren't they lovely???? I stole the faery cake from somewhere, I think it was an ATS member. Hope they don't mind, but it's so awesome!! My Mom always taught me to share. LOL! I didn't take any of the pics I'm sharing here, but everyone must have awesome pics to share at all times!
