Would you rather have USA takeover Canada and create a few more states?
or
Have Canada take over USA?

Today, I see a huge merge between the two country culturally. Eventually one way or the other. One of the country will be absorbed because neither of the countries are run by Native Americans(different race). Both are some what white. Both have almost the same culture. The only thing that makes them different is the Products, Government, and Flags.

Neither country can seem to isolate themselves like the past and support itself financially(like in 1812).

Edit: I'm more worried about this than guns.

And the way people treat each other.

How about America stays where it is

And so does Canada

Sorry for the short post.

Either way, the combined country would be dominated by the largest conurbations.
The only difference between the two options is "which constitution?". Parliamentary, or direct Presidential election?

Are you talking about Canadians like Gavin Mcinnes, Steven Crowder and Stefan Molyneux?

They are bigger fans and proponents of the constitution and American values than most Americans.

Canada taking over the states would never work, there's far too many differences. And debt owed to someone. Differences like religion, ideas about guns, miles vs kilometres, etc.
We're not that much alike.

If the US was to take over Canada, I'm moving to Iceland.

Canada is already a part of another country... even though we are also our own Country

We've already been though this... No need to do it again...

You Americans stay where you are, and we'll do the same.

The last thing we need up here is YOUR gun laws

Wouldn't happen.

Completely different political atmospheres.

And both countries are full to the brim with nationalism.

60% Of conversations happening in the US right now are 20-year-old issues in Canada.

Also, nobody in Canada gives a damn if Trump or Hillary dropped dead tomorrow.

Congratulations, you made me puke a little in my mouth.

If this ever happened I would abandon my moose loving, gotch wearing, bunny hug calling country and move to Mexico.

Canadian food is nasty-that's all I got. I lived 20 years in Minnesota; and they're really more Canadian than American so we don't need any more of that "culture" here-we already have it. Thank you anyway.

'Cause I can't.

I believe that about many posters on this site.

But you're definitely not right about that.

My back is sore from treading around this site with all the Trump boners sticking out all over the place.

Bannock, Persians, ketchup chips, naniamo bars, butter tarts, kraft dinner. Also, a lot of bacon dishes originated here. Peameal bacon, canadian back bacon.
