Apparently, soldiers are being arrested in the streets of Ankara by the police and being led off to jail.

Has anybody considered it being a false flag coup planned by Erdogan in order to fully Islamise Turkey ?

For a coup it does seem incredibly poorly orchestrated

That is very possible. Hitler firebombed his own Reichstag.

If anything, this attempted coup showed us that there are still people who refuse to cooperate with terrorists...maybe this will spark a bigger coup later in the future....

CIA, Russian intel or ISIS.

Don't under estimate ISIS. ERrdogan may have made a deal with them.

Yeah, he got rid of some of the military higher ups, much like Obama did.

David Tafuri is saying if the coup fails, Erdewan will purge and it won't be nice.

It always sad when religious fundamentalism and extremism triumph over secularism.

Nasser is long dead, Turkey has fallen to Erdogan's Islamist ideology, and Al-Assad is hanging on by a thread.

Secularism will soon be a dead idea in the Middle East, and the Arab World reduced to the status of Saudi Arabia.

We can only hope for a revival of the Secular movement that swept across the Middle East in the 50s and 60s in the near future, if not dark days are in store for the arab world

If it is really as it looks right now and the coup failed, than all those people on the streets there want islamisation, want to give away their liberty and freedoms, they like a suppressed media, a internet that is switched of if the Führer wants it like this, they want disappearing critics, they want to support a dictator that supports the "IS"...

Do they really belong to the NATO?
At least that was a statement by the turkish people that they are way back in time.
They remember me to the german people in the third reich, if they really support this dictator.
And didn´t just want to end all that almost unbloody, knowing that the rebels wouldn´t shoot on turkish citizens.

How long will we want these jokers to stay in NATO given the trajectory of the country?

I just can't logically see it being a real coup due to the lack of fighting and the soldiers just giving up.

Why start a coup if you're just going to turn in when it doesn't your way ? These soldiers are giving up way too easy for it to be a serious coup

That would be a good way to find smoke out the military members who are for you and who are against you.

Because it was just a group of soldiers paid by the NWO to take control over Turkey, but the overwhelming majority are with Erdogan and love him?`
