"Despite being stopped the least amount of times, white PEOPLE have murdered the most cops this year"

This is your title but your content is relevant to white MALES. I am getting sick and tired of getting lumped in with white males, tbh.

Happens all the time.

Today I read how Megyn Kelly, as a privileged white woman, was in no position to contribute to the subject of racism. Even though that woman has had more hateful misogyny thrown her way, in the last year, than most women in the public eye. Perhaps, she could draw on those experiences when discussing racism.

One in four women are sexually assaulted in her lifetime and I hear far too much about how priveledged we are. We aren't. We do face adversity and hate. And there is no room to even talk about it because racism seems to be the only discrimination that matters.

I think you should change your title.

Sorry, I refuse to conform by sugar coating because some people are hurt by the truth. The truth is what sets us free.

Washington Post

Thank you, this article (with older data) confirms the topic's title - white people are killing more cops despite being stopped less when compared to any other group, grossly disproportionate.

MALES are killing more cops. MALES.

Black and white males are killing more cops than women. There's some truth.

So white people kill 70% of cops but make up 70% of the population and blacks kill 30 percent of cops and make up only 13% of the population. What am I missing other than your sources?

What you are missing is that

White people make up 70% of the population, but are stopped the least amount of times.

Despite being stopped the least amount of times, this group has killed the most amount of cops.

Get it now?

The group with the highest population comes into contact with the police the least amount of times, but has killed the most officers. That's an epidemic.

But cops aren't pulling whites, blacks, or anyone over in search of cop killers, are they ? Of the thousands or if not 10's of thousands off stops its for road infractions(I assume you mean traffic stops), searches, potential stolen property etc. They aren't pulling them over for one of these 42 cop killers, I don't think you can correlate these two facts you've supplied as they don't really have anything to do with each other.

As well it would be interesting to see the stats for previous years as per the race of cop killers, are they the same as you claim for the first 1/2 of this year ?

A bit different, for all of 2013 for example, 27 cops were killed 15 of the alleged offenders were white, 11 were black, and race was not reported for 2 offenders. SOURCE: FBI - www.fbi.gov...

But one trend remains - in each year, white people interacted with police less than minorities, but killed the most cops despite running into them less. This specific trend based on the data has been going on for over 20 years.

Despite this epidemic, the media paints the face of a cop killer as a minority, even though cops are much much much more likely to be killed at the hands of a white person. What's scary is that if cops stopped white people at the same rate they stopped minorities, we'd have hundreds of cops dead this year alone, based on the data. It's probably a good thing white people are not harassed as much, we'd have no one left to protect us if they were.

What truth? Your data isn't matching up with anything that anyone can find. You're throwing out these numbers with no sources, clamining they're "fbi." I just quoted you a "fbi" source and it said something totally different then your "Fbi" sources.

So watching these threads on who is killing who, blacks on whites, whites on blacks, asians on latinos, whites on cops, blacks on cops, white cops on blacks, black cops on whites, rich on poor, poor on rich, middle class on anybody and the only thing that really seems to be true is...

AMERICANS KILL AMERICANS!!!

There is your culprit, right there, you are killing each other far, far too often.

Wake up.

Whilst it's true that there is no FBI data for 2016 the OP is correct for 2013 and 2014 when police officers killers were mostly white.

The FBI statistics are not released for 2015 yet, only preliminary which does not specify details of the offenders.

In 2014, 51 cops were killed feloniously, 42 of the alleged offenders were white, 13 were black, 2 were American Indian/Alaska Native, 1 was Asian/Pacific Islander, and race was not reported for 1 offender.
FBI 2014

In 2013, 27 cops were killed feloniously, 15 of the alleged offenders were white, 11 were black, and race was not reported for 2 offenders.
FBI 2013

EDIT: sorry OP, I didn't see you have posted the 2013 figures already, I think you did whilst I was browsing the FBI website.

One things for sure, out of the sources I've quoted and out of the sources people who disagree have quoted - one thing remains, white people have killed more cops despite being stopped less. Perhaps the official numbers are off here and there, but the core fact remains - despite running into police less, more cops have died at the hands of whites than they have any other group. That much is fact.

What this means is 51 cops were killed, 42 killed by white people.
In 2014, according to the FBI,
white people make up over 80% of all police killers. This is a FACT!

Here are the facts:

An estimated 26.4 million persons age 16 or older indicated that their most recent contact with the police in 2011 was as a driver pulled over in a traffic stop. These drivers represented 12% of the nation's 212 million drivers.

A greater percentage of male drivers (12%) than female drivers (8%) were stopped by police during 2011. A higher percentage of black drivers (13%) than white (10%) and Hispanic (10%) drivers were stopped by police during 2011.

Stopped drivers reported speeding as the most common reason for being pulled over in 2011.
Approximately 80% of drivers pulled over by police in 2011 felt they had been stopped for a legitimate reason. In 2011, about 68% of black drivers believed police had a legitimate reason for stopping them compared to 84% of white and 74% of Hispanic drivers.

In 2011, about 3% of traffic stops led to a search of the driver, the vehicle, or both. Police were more likely to search male drivers (4%) than female drivers (2%).

A lower percentage of white drivers stopped by police in 2011 were searched (2%) than black (6%) or Hispanic (7%) drivers.

"White people" weren't stopped least of any race like you stated. You're literally making things up as you go.

Again though...that interaction is not to investigate cop killers.....theft, speeding, assault, etc is the reason why...general crime or misdemeanors is the reason for it. You've taken one stat from the six months of this year and just broad brushed it against stops, ignoring the hundreds and if even thousands of other reasons for stops.

Police departments across the country state that routine traffic stops are the number one cause of police deaths - and yet black people are stopped much more than whites in routine traffic stops, but kill less.

My topic is about how white people have killed 71% of the police this year (more or less), while in 2014 they had killed over 80% of cops. The numbers seem to be pretty accurate. That's what this topic is about. If you want to make a new topic about the other variables, I'll gladly join in - but for now, let's stick to the topic title.

Now, edit your title to say "white MALES" and stop lumping women in because you discriminate against white people while preaching against discrimination.

Males are not the only people killing police officers. According to what you just quoted, 5 were female - so I cannot exclude females from the topic's title.
