Good luck to the GOP if they continue to push this nonsense. With a platform like this, they'll instantly alienate the majority of their remaining constituency, A.k.a. your average American man.

If you want to limit your kids surfing, there are ways to block the websites you consider undesirable. If you want to limit adult surfing, you have a bigger problem than any law can hope to contain.

While the masses have to do with internet porn, the guys in congress get supplied with high class hookers and coc aine at every party.

It IS a cultural crisis. There are boards and support groups dedicated to people whose lives have been ruined by a porn addiction. It takes something like only 20 times to view it before it becomes an addiction. Why do you think porn is spammed everywhere? The industry knows this. They target children.

I'm not a GOPer or even a conservative but I totally agree with this. But, it's no surprise or coincidence to find the internet mocking this. Good luck with that.

Please NO! I am so grateful for Internet porn! My hubby and I make love 3-4 times a week, but he can still jack off 2-3 times a day. Honestly, sometimes, I am able to give him a 'hand' but I would not want him to suffer! Sheesh! He is healthier and happier than most men his age!

Seriously, I see it beneficial not just to him physically but to our relationship. We have been able to explore more and communicate more honestly about what we like or don't like! Those do nothing for him.

Pass the personal bias, smoking and dring alcohol are addictive. America's response is curtailing public behaviors. As long as you are not publicly watching porn and getting off...legislation needs to stay out of your bedroom!

Forgive my ignorance, but I was under the impression that porn was unregulated in the US due to the Constitution forbidding the government to interfere in freedom of speech. Is that right?

So any attempt to crack down on porn would necessitate an amendment to that part of the constitution?

Seems to me that if that is the case, porn isn't what they are after, but rather people's ability to disseminate information.
