I just don't know how much more blatant the republican party can be about controlling your life and chipping at our civil rights. I don't think religious people really like freedom, it scares them.

No. Porn is not a pressing issue. Gender neutral bathrooms are a pressing issue. Not going to argue why here, but the 2 are completely different.

They have always been completely crystal clear on that. They say 3 words to placate the NRA an get money and half of the entire country thinks Republicans and evangelists are FOR the constitution. It is really the other way around.

So ... the party of individual freedom wants to take away one of the most basic ways that humans express themselves and interact with each other, i.e. sexuality? How absurd. Someone mentioned finding out what's on their "hard drives" ... and I bet even the strong-stomached among us would be shocked. That's the sick, twisted nature of the desire to rule over others.

I say that unbridled authoritarianism is the greatest health crisis facing us today.

I didn't need to convince myself. Many cities and towns are going through figureing out the issue. So it is a pressing issue.
I am concerned with areas of social justice. If you aren't, maybe you should be. They are issues this country was built upon and progressed upon.

lol. though the spankin, as in 'spanking the monkey' is a US thing and 'wanking' has moved to the US as the same meaning via movies and social media. Though not sure either is ever used for a female.

I have a stupid story. My neighbor was super religious (he's passed away and I actually liked him a fair amount, still have lovely chats with his wife) and liked to come over and "witness" to me. One day he came over and was on a roll, "You shouldn't be drinking, smoking looking at pornography and doing drugs!". "Mr. Neighbor, I don't do drugs...". It never seemed to bother him that I was living in sin with a woman at the time. She was very easy to like though.

Leave me to my weird and shameful practices. Porn is the least of my problems and societies.

I read about this yesterday. Clearly the Republicans are the "social justice warriors" here.
