There used to be this technology that allowed a write to a disk/drive once and allowed only reading from there on to preserve the original. They should use that again.

Or reinvent it in a different form. That would solve the chain of evidence and editing issues.

And again, I don't think it should be any harder to get the video that directly goes to your case than the written report is.

They need to be hard to get because just about any dip can import video and edit out parts that don't fit their particular agenda much like most of the main stream media, post to YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, etc. and create an out of context ruckus that gets blown out of proportion, making finding the truth harder. It needs to be in the courts where there is a least some semblance of rules.


At the same time holding it back also creates out of context ruckus that gets it's blown out of proportion.
