Question as a concerned new 'prepper'..

a reply to: FlyInTheOintmentin that sit it would suck to be in uk why because the one think the uk has way to much of is bureaucrats between the local councils and mp and all the other red tape you might be able to be well prepared but they would likely knock on your door and say we are seizing your hoarded goods to redistribute to the masses ie themselves because they to short sighted to prepare.

That should be expected in any country with bureaucrats.

They will seize your stuff here because you are "an attractive nuisance" to looters.

The greatest thing you can possess isnt an item or training IMO. Its the ability to improvise. If you have bags of items to survive, you probably arent going to survive anything.

Well, some training is pretty darn handy....combat and medicine, for example.

However, yeah, the ability to improvise and use items around you in different ways will be a pretty good survival skill. Couldn't even begin to list how much we've re-purposed around the ranch.....
