That's what the majority said in the 50s and 60s too.

I'm sorry, I must have missed your answer, because all that I can see is that you gave me an examples of where else they use molotov cocktails?

I see that you support these people, my question is why don't you join them? Head straight to the White House as I proposed and make the change you want to see. That is, if the rest of your population supports this noble and peaceful fight of yours.

Why are these people attacking normal people who are just DOING THEIR JOB?

Now you have to ask yourself. What the heck is there a BLM march in the UK for?

Attention? Maybe

Spread the Chaos to the UK? maybe

the UK has nothing to do with this who situation the cops there don't even carry guns.

Something deeper is going on seeing that BLM is funded by Soros

I watched a lot of the livestreams. At one point someone shot off some (probably leftover from 4th of July) firecrackers, but they all got those idiots to stop.

At another point the popo got on the loudspeaker and told them to stop throwing rocks and cans at the police, but there was no evidence of that (at least on any of the streams I saw) and the minute they said it a very large outcry went up that the cops were lying for the cameras. Ha.

Some kept saying the police were using rubber bullets, but you couldn't tell that either from what I saw.

Anyway, no cocktails anywhere that I saw.

My thoughts too initially, but then Bristolians like a good protest, many will join in not even knowing what they are protesting about.

They like to think of themselves as political activists, especially where underdogs are concerned.

If you want to fight against tyranny, you don't fight with people who are just doing their bloody jobs in order to feed their families.

Tell that to the British soldiers killed in the American revolution.

Or the German foot soldiers of the Wehrmacht who had to fight or end up in concentration camps.

Or the enforcers, foot soldiers and minion of every other tyrannical regime.

Not saying BLM have a case for violence. But in the REAL world any stand against a tyranny results in deaths of those that serve the tyrannical regime.

You say you are a student of history. And we see history repeating itself right now.

We are? When was the last time martial law was declared across the United States or the 'blue helmets' took over?

Hysteria much?

These fellow Americans I have protested with in the past, sadly I think my protest and marching days are over.

Head straight to the White House

Heading to the White House isn't conducive. The things they are protesting aren't happening to them in front of the White House.

That is, if the rest of your population supports this noble and peaceful fight

They don't and that's why the problem has reached such a point that it needs to be protested.

Why are these people attacking normal people who are just DOING THEIR JOB?

Why do 'normal' people know and do nothing about the harassment of black citizens just trying to get to and from their destinations such as work and school? Why do 'normal' do nothing when a cop taunts a black person relentlessly just to make an arrest so they can fill their quotas, which are illegal but kept in place anyway? I could go on.

And I say go march straight to the White House. Do you not agree with me?

Even I would not call the US regime's a tyranny. If the Americans live under tyranny, what we can say for the rest of us?

Really surprised ISIS aren't trying to get in on the action and take advantage of all the civil unrest

I would say they are the driving force behind this mess

I am sorry, but if marching straight to your capitol wouldn't solve anything, then what would? Repeating what's happened in Dallas? What's it going to take for this un-justice to stop, as you call it?

And it's funny how some people think that only their race or whatever is being picked on, when in fact, it's the entire human race.

We should stop labeling them as protesters, because what protesters use MOLOTOV COCKTAILS?!

And they say they want justice...

Disgusting. I laugh at this kind of "democracy"

Good, we aren't a democracy.

im not condoning cop killing here, so don't get me wrong. But America has always been unruly. Its just an American thing, arising from the notions given to us by our forebears.

Laugh all you want. We may not agree with them BLM here....but i certainly don't condone the racist legal system that has gotten us here today, either. And since no one has seemed to listen, maybe a molotov cocktail or 2 are needed to get folks attention.

The difference (and you have to be purposefully embracing ignorance to claim otherwise) is that the blacks-as shown in every instance of rioting in the past are only doing it to rape, steal and murder.

The whites that are armed against a tyrannical gov actually are armed against a tyrannical gov. They don't burn down cities and rape/murder civilians.

Two totally different groups with two totally different goals.

This reminds of something that another ATS member had said after the Dallas shooting. He said that it happened because BLM had no options left, because no one was paying attention to them...

Do you want to know how my idiotic people changed the socialist regime? Over a million people gathered in our capitol, and our government was given no other option. Not to mention not a single life has been lost.

So, if you want the same thing to happen, then you guys have to do the same. It is the only way.

The other way is of course a civil war, which we also had during the '90s. So, it's up to you to decide

I'm white. I just happen to think it's outrageous the way black people are harassed and looked down on in America (see the Benjamin Franklin quote below).

What happened in Dallas had nothing to do with protest. It was a horrible tragedy that no one wanted to see and I hope we never do again.

It's going to take, police losing the ability to abuse their power and exploit a minority. That's not all cops and no one is saying that.

Protestors the world over use Molotovs. Calm down. And they were mostly left over fireworks from the 4th that the police would rather describe as molotovs honestly lol. In fact you almost never see molotovs at protests here. Americans are not nearly as handy at actually making those. And i doubt they sell much of the real fireworks up there either.

Anyways, OP you are definitely overreacting. Good thing the police themselves do not overreact such as yourself. They made over 100 arrests nobody died.

And they were also playing Purple Rain! Purple Rain i tell ya! Seriously. It is not the end of the world. No martial law.

Check this out im sure even a few cops were sharing a laugh or two.
