One who can admit to being wrong.

"He who loves the world as his body may be entrusted with the empire."

Such a sh*tty platitude, assuming it's not a mistranslation. Loving your body amounts to nothing.

Proverbs are always (sh*tty) platitudes until you have personally experienced the truth of them. -Aldous Huxley

My apologies, I can't find an exact Chinese translation. Maybe Huxley wrote it when he was high.

A great leader creates other leaders, not followers.

That is an excellent point, and they do so by their actions, not their rhetoric.

I read in some book somewhere along the line about how a good leader is one that the people never talk about, so it's like they are invisible. An ok leader is one that's always in the spotlight and people praise/are entertained by. And a bad leader is one that people grumble about. Or something along those lines. I have no idea where I read that, but I'd like to know for sure if anyone has any idea because I liked it. I thought it was an interesting idea.

Very true transparency, yet inspires others.

A great leader is one that has to say very little, and leads by example.

He/she inspires others, in a constructive ways, just by their actions.

A great leader will be humble, and not need MSM, or anything else to make them who they are.

Apologies.

I'm at a loss as far as political leadership goes.
