At some point when a ton of people don't understand what you're trying to say have you considered that it might be YOU doing a crappy job?

CNN had on some fantastic commentators discussing the cultural impact of this week. People Like Charles Blow and Angela Davis. Terms were used like "ambient feeling of terror", "psychic trauma", "cognitive dissonance", "a sense of unreality".

Particularly for black Americans who were justifiably protesting what they think is systemic injustice only to be confronted by the stark reality of the counter-injustice in Dallas. But also everyone at large who watched for two days the horror of the videos associated with the latest police shootings and THEN watched in dismay as a major American city was reduced to a war zone.

It's a very dangerous time right now. People are fragile. We need to come together.

In other words the killer wanted to be violent and kill cops but BLM wasn't about that so he was upset.
