Dallas shooting!

If two arabic muslims had done this, we'd of been told terrorism 30 seconds after it started.
If two white guys had done this we'd of heard mental hate fueled racists 30 seconds after it started.

doesn't seem logical does it. you would think these guys know that their gonna meet the needle. no way there gonna get just life.

because it was initially reported as snipers. One of the suspects was on ground level, the other from an elevated position.

Yeah, too consistent. It's so hard to fire semis as steady as that when you having fun, if you were in a shoot out I just don't see it happening. I certainly couldn't do it with an AK just because triggers are awful.

I have been following it from the start on Twitter and the newsfeeds. Multiple shooters claimed over different reports. I see once civvy dead, 4 cops with 11 shot total. Video shows a cop being shot near a parking structure.

Claiming multiple suspects the most I have heard was 4 with a 5th person of interest.

Shooters sounded professional. Sounds like a Gladio operation.

Keep an eye out for FBI.

you can learn that stuff at airlift, what you cant teach is the hate or willingness to follow through without paralyzing fear of the consequences

I doubt this is that big of a deal...

Sniper is defined as "One who shoots at other people from a concealed place."

I think they fit that description.

It's the media. they hear a term they like and use it.

They also only know 2 types of firearm, an AR-15 and an AK. One of which is often described as an "assault weapon" and the other as a "machine gun".

They are quite clueless about such things on the whole.

If there are others involved we don't know about maybe they would offer him life sentence as part of a plea deal with informing.

I get applying the term to describe the action. With these events I tend to see a certain language used and it's repeated over and over. Just wanted to make a note.

Agreed. Media hear gunman perched and just blurted out sniper. And as usual, they all copied each other. Simple as that to me.

CBS 11 in dallas interviewing the Hughes Brothers right now.

In regards to the recent flashbangs/other devices going off, Fox 4 is saying 1 device was used by police to possibly breach a door, and then the next 3 bangs were the suspect firing his weapon. Robots are being sent in to find the exact location of the suspect in the building.

FYI - This information is coming from Shaun Rabb, a Fox 4 correspondent who has very close contact with the DPD. He has had close contact with the DPD for many years and is well known by most residents of the DFW area.

What were they saying about students? Is it because it's a parking garage at the college? Are students still in lock down?

Maybe, but I doubt it. Kill a cop in Texas and it is virtually an automatic death penalty.
