Not sure if this is the right area to post but lately CNN seems to be on a joyride of spreading fear among its veiwers. Terror this and that...whole week of a series on protecting us from terror..and what would happen if......
Are they just trying to beat Fox news in the ratings ?

My biggest problem with CNN is that you can't watch more than 3 minutes of news/commentary without 2 mintues of commercials. It's even wearing out my TIVO

With regard to your "joyride of spreading fear," comment, I would say that CNN certainly does not have a monopoly on this. Fox is even worse, in my opinion.

I much prefer Keith Olberman's Countdown program, a slightly offbeat look at the news. www.msnbc.msn.com...
