Tears laid waste to the stone,
Withered away to the bone,
The core of nothing,
Left with shame,
And longing all the same.

A maiden dwelled,
Beneath the sea,
And the starry flawless sky.

Without love,
Not her
Not mine,
The core danced,
With longing eye.

A maiden dwelled,
With curious eye,
Bright as the Sun,
The Moonlit sky.

A wind whispered,
From North to South,
A second came,
The other way.

The first one spoke,
of little things,
The second thought,
Oh be mine.

The maiden left,
The wind was gone,
As others came with a song,
The maidens gathered in a cave and sang,
For no one at all.

The full moon out,
The ball all done,
The dancers leaving,
The music gone.

The final mark,
Of the night,
Her embrace,
A slight part of the night.

I wish you wouldn't be so critical of your poems or everything that you write, but I know you'll keep doing that so I'll shut up now.
