Joint Base Andrews in Maryland has been placed on lockdown following a report of an active shooter. The base was placed on lockdown just after 9 a.m. Thursday, officials at the base told News4.

I know, right!

Hopefully it's just a screw up.

Seems to be a false alarm. Someone reported a man with a gun during the drill. This seems odd because it seems like it was known there would be a drill today. I think some of the slow reporting came from the fact that the local news knew about the drill and they weren't jumping on it until more confirmation came. If it was so well known, what caused this person to report it? I'm assuming they were on base to be able to even know something was going on.

Furthering gun confiscation, collecting a plethora of news bites about guns, using it as ammunition as reason to disarm citizens for their own good.

They see something on the other side of the fence at Hood and Campbell all the time and call the cops. 99% of the time the local cops just hang up on them.
