Why target people who share their ideals?

Please allow me to dispel that most grandiose DELUSION.

Now if the 'right winger's in this country were still stoning people to death, RAPING their wives, and other women. Then making them find 5 witness's to prove it.

IF they were strapping bombs on to themselves, and walking in to markets to blow up the locals.

If they were getting pilots licenses to learn out to fly planes in to buildings without learning how to land them.

If they were going around cutting children in half. and the long list of other things EVERYONE sees.

Why target people who share their ideals?

That is about the most ASININE comment I have heard in awhile.

Oh please forgive my ignorance, it must be the TRUTH because it comes from the NBC, the home of Brian Williams.

It comes from AQ's 'anarchist cookbook' called 'Inspire' where they learn how to make pressure cooker bombs with their moms.

Is Al Qaeda even relevant anymore? Those clowns can't even find a way out of their own backyard now days. They've been Trumped by ISIS.

AQ is ISIS.

Nothing has changed.

The group has had various names since it was founded in 1999 by Jordanian radical Abu Musab al-Zarqawi under the name Jamāʻat al-Tawḥīd wa-al-Jihād (lit. "The Organisation of Monotheism and Jihad").[30] When in October 2004 al-Zarqawi swore loyalty to Osama bin Laden, he renamed the group Tanẓīm Qāʻidat al-Jihād fī Bilād al-Rāfidayn (lit. "The Organisation of Jihad's Base in Mesopotamia"), commonly known as al-Qaeda in Iraq or AQI.[5

"NO, we are terrorising terrorists committing terrorism, not hate"

I see a huge opportunity for a hilarious comedy skit there.

You have to change a hell of a lot more than just a single word.

Wasnt the Orlando massacre carried out by a jilted gay lover ?
It had nothing to do with Muslims, white community or any other brand of a brand

All I see is people following what the media teaches them to believe

It was a love crime, now love is evil.

Al Qaeda wants lone wolf terrorists to target the lefts political opponents, Republicans.

Is this you trying to spin what they said into a bipartisan issue? Because that's what it looks like, or are all white people Republicans? I was under the impression that white people were Democrat, Republican, Independent, or any other color in the rainbow.

How exactly would these terrorists single out Republicans anyways? Are they looking for an R or D on people's foreheads? Your spin is absurd.

Trump rallies.

People that don't look like 1960's rejects.

Military, cops, firemen.

Job centers

Churches

Because we all know minorities don't attend Trump rallies, job centers, church, or serve as police, firemen, or military, right? Only Republicans attend those things or are those things. Makes sense.

Wow.

Even terrorists are afraid of blowback?

No, they want to be called terrorists and not have their handy work blamed on a closet gay who was controlled by the evil mind control devices the NRA demands Republicans regulate into all AR-15 rifles manufactured in the US these days.

It doesn't matter what ethnicity, orientation, gender, etc., you are. The minute you "out" yourself as a conservative, you have all those other cards revoked and no longer can lay claim to any of those identities. You have deemed yourself to be one of the faceless class of "other" the left hates.

Are us Libertarians safe or do they just want to kill people in general?

Read the OP and his comments thus far. Would you consider his viewpoint as all rainbows and sunshine towards the left, or does he consider them a faceless class of "other" that he hates?

Please spare me the sob story, the right is just as guilty as the left.

I don't think that indicates they are targeting the political so-called "right." The political so-called "ledt" in the US is LOADED with whites as well.

Seems pretty obvious the intent would be to avoid the silly label of "hate crime" in favor of being labeled "Islamic Terrorism." The obvious goal of Al Queda and ISIS is to foment a religious war between Islam and Christianity, not to improve relationships between the US' racial groups.

From the Washington Times article in your OP.

“This is al Qaeda’s way of asserting itself above [the Islamic State] in the wake of its competitor’s success,” Ryan Mauro, national security analyst for Clarion Project, a Washington-based nonprofit that tracks the international terror threat, told the Foreign Desk Friday.

From the NBC report you quoted as support:

As a result, media coverage focused on whether Mateen was driven by hatred of gays — even though he professed allegiance to ISIS, and not its rival al Qaeda, in a 911 call during the June 12 massacre.

Your primary and secondary sources disagree with your equivalency between ISIS and al-Qaeda. As does, well, almost anyone who knows anything about the situation.

In a more general sense: So, you're quoting the Washington Times and NBC as your evidence. What happened to "we can't trust the mainstream media?"
