Statements that Donald J. Trump is LGBT-friendly are the purest form of bovine fecal matter.

Trump has historically been against marriage equality, and even against civil unions, but as on most matters, he flip-flops.

One thing he has not flipped on is his statement that he would appoint SCOTUS Justices that would repeal Obergefell.

"It has been ruled upon. It has been there. If I’m elected I would be very strong in putting certain judges on the bench that I think maybe could change things, but they have a long way to go,” the GOP candidate said on “Fox News Sunday.” Adding: “I disagree with the court in that it should have been a states’ rights issue... This was a very surprising ruling. I can see changes coming down the line.” When pressed further about whether he would appoint judges to overrule the Supreme Court’s June decision that made same-sex marriage across the nation, Trump responded: “I would strongly consider that, yes.”

HuffPo

He is against any sort of national equal rights legislation, but he thinks the government should treat everyone fairly. He supported Kim Davis as well as the kind of legislation that would allow the First Amendment to be trampled under the feet of the supposedly Christian Right.

More than that, he now heads a party that has fought tooth-and-nail against equal rights for LGBT folk for 50 years.

No, Donald J. Trump is NOT a friend or ally to our community.

I was curious about the OP and his intentions. Decided to look at the threads he's started.

By my count, he's started 17 anti-Trump threads this year thus far.

It's obvious he dissects what presidential candidates say and looks to uncover wrongdoing and criminal activity, or just general issues such as lying to the American people. With that in mind, you'd expect the OP to have dug up some stuff on other presidential candidates, right?

Total Hillary or Clinton threads from the OP:

ZERO

Let that sink in. With all the crap surrounding the Clinton's, the OP hasn't found a single quote, statement, story, incident, what have you, he figures is worth discussing. But Peter Thiel's lawyer wants to silence reporting on Trump's hair?

Thread started!

Satisfied students in a Trump video have Trump ties....

Thread started!

My intent is not to hijack this thread but rather, to uncover the intentions of this OP. He's not interested in truth. He's not interested in vetting presidential candidates. He's not interested in digging into Trump and Hillary and weighing issues against one another.

As far as I can tell, he won't even acknowledge Hillary while it's Trump, Trump and more Trump.

The OP is not the subject here. What you're doing is against the site T&C.

Blatantly.

Yes, it seems he has nothing better to do or get's paid to talk bad about Trump.

Nope. I was merely providing context to his constant anti-Trump posts.

However, if you want to bring up T&C violations, look no further than the first half of the OP's first sentence.

It's not big secret that Donald Trump is a giant baby

I've had to live in a country where I witnessed for four decades the takeover by religious fundamentalists. Hint: I don't live in the Middle East. No, I've been around long enough to see how conservative Christians and Republicans (riled up by their respective leaders) used each other to gain power to remake America in their image.

And their image is not a pretty one. The following are political beliefs of American religious conservative fundamentalists. This is the political DNA of the Religious Right (from 40 years ago and hasn't changed):

"the widespread feeling that America is weak and being pushed around"
"a call for military superiority "
"superpatriotism"

"almost supernaturally evil entities in an apocalyptic drama" which helped secular leaders convince America to invade Iraq
"encourage the provocative elements in foreign policy that make (nuclear) war more likely"

"advocates pure free-market capitalism liberated from big government"
"extreme in their opposition to socialism....they [don't] see very clearly the difference between democratic socialism and communism"
' "the free enterprise system is clearly outlined in the Book of Proverbs" and ... that "ownership of property is Biblical." '

"tendency toward a narrow, chauvinistic nationalism"
"anxiety over signs of moral breakdown in society, especially those that are believed to threaten the family -- abortion, homosexuality" and willing to pass laws to restrict freedoms and rights

So, yes, unfortunately, this IS a political thread.

Oh, that means that Trump was God's second choice. Ted Cruz was anointed first, at that Marriot Hotel in Des Moines, Iowa, July, 2013.

Let's just say a MORAL platform ain't the man's cup of tea. One would really have to suspend all belief to bite that bit of bait.

Christianity has no "moral platform" or any objective moral standard, it's just a collection of thoughts from desert people, it has no merit in matters on morality and it's just another sky fairy religion that has a violent history and often bigoted and ugly texts, though and it's sad to say the doctrine is still better than other religions namely Islam.

Wow, twice accused by Trump supporters of being a shill for posting anti-Trump threads.

I was curious about the OP and his intentions. Decided to look at the threads he's started.

Ask me. I make no secret of my intentions. My biggest position this election is to be anti-Trump. Period. I will post as many anti-Trump threads as I want and you posting crap like this only fuels my desire to post more as I've obviously hit a nerve.

It's obvious he dissects what presidential candidates say and looks to uncover wrongdoing and criminal activity, or just general issues such as lying to the American people. With that in mind, you'd expect the OP to have dug up some stuff on other presidential candidates, right?

Really? I have an obligation to add to the dozen anti-Clinton threads that are posted daily on ATS in order to also post anti-Trump threads on ATS? Do you even realize how ridiculous that sounds? Seriously, that might be the most irrational blabbering I've read on ATS in months. LITERALLY MONTHS. Not to mention entirely hypocritical coming from a person who not only starts anti-Clinton threads and has never once started an anti-Trump thread (nor have any of the cadre of pro-Trump, anti-Clinton posters that somehow don't have this BS obligation that you presume to demand of me lol) but can't even bring himself to admit to any wrongdoing by Donald Trump.

Let that sink in. With all the crap surrounding the Clinton's, the OP hasn't found a single quote, statement, story, incident, what have you, he figures is worth discussing. But Peter Thiel's lawyer wants to silence reporting on Trump's hair?

Again, what are you even talking about? Hillary Clinton Email Thread #2000029? Benghazi thread #50000000? Aren't the daily updates from other users enough for you? Are you so incapable of even being exposed to anti-Trump sentiment that you feel compelled to attempt to silence me with this garbage? How very Donald Trump of you.

My intent is not to hijack this thread but rather, to uncover the intentions of this OP.

Yes, that is exactly your intention. Could you be any more disingenuous?

Now would you care to comment about one of the Trump threads that I've written? Would you like to argue that what I've said is wrong? Would you like to do anything OTHER THAN attempt to derail this thread?

Perhaps you'd care to acquaint yourself with the rules of the political mud-put forum? Here's a link to the thread from SO:

About The Political Mud-Pit

Mud-Pit Rules and Guidelines

The rules and guidelines are simple, basically just two things to remember in addition to common-sense avoidance of vulgarities and personal threats: Don't throw mud outside of the political mud pit forum. If you go into the Political Mud-Pit forum, expect to get dirty.

Pay close attention to this rule:

3) Everything but vulgarities and threats are "tolerated." We've come to accept that many feel the "political stakes" are so high, that intense debate is necessary, and very often name-calling, baiting, and activity we've previously classified as "Political Trolling" are simply part of the process. Have at. But don't come running to us if someone throws mud harder than you, or hides rocks in their pile of mud.

See you in the next 100 anti-Trump threads I will surely be posting!
