It won't. So now what? Do you have a real solution or is it easier to tell people what to do with their bodies? Here's what's going to happen. People are going to keep getting abortions and nothing you say will matter or change that. If someone gets themselves into a situation they can't get out of without all of our help then I'm going to pitch in to help. Sorry you feel differently. I guess some of us prefer to help those in need. You prefer to despise the ignorant. It's not healthy.

What you just said makes zero sense. I want to make it very clear to you that you can still acquire an STD despite using contraception. Stop spreading false information. Do you understand what contraception is or how disease is spread? It doesn't seem like it.

So why not allow for everyone to come to their conclusion too??? That's what Pro-Choice is. It's not "Everyone must abort".

It means having all options on the table.

As another poster on here said, "I see it as an act of Mercy." Does that mean it's always done that way?? NO. I'm sure some women use it without even thinking about it or for some kind of birth control too. But the fact is there are many situations where it's a valid choice. I tend to think of them like that. Rather than think of the negative possibilities I'd rather assume people are at least trying to make wise choices so if that's what they choose then they have their valid reasons for it. I know that's not always the case but it's the opposite of how many of you choose to view it which is that there is no valid reason for it, which is BS.

In my opinion the options they have for abortion don't give any gravity to the consequences of their actions. Therefore, there is less contemplation about the importance of unprotected sex to them.

No, I dont want to give my money to them. They made a choice. I don't ask you to pay for my bad decisions and have no right to.

I never said you couldn't get an std while using contraception. But again, knowing that's a risk, should you still have sex if you can't afford treatment should that unfortunately happen to you?

This thread has kind of split off. While I oppose abortion and think it should be off the table I realize that it will probably always be an option.

What I also oppose is me in anyway paying for another person to get one. If it's going to be Pro-Choice then it should be YOUR choice and not mine to pay for it. I made no choice, I have no part in your decision to abort the baby. Why should I have to subsidize that?

I just wasn't specific in saying that it "helps" prevent them. More specifically, condoms.
