OK, we voted leave .......I know it is early days but, get over it and work togther

I voted leave, didn't think it would happen, it did ......... now UK lets pull together!

We all live in a Democracy, as stated, i didn't expect it to happen but i would have accepted a remain vote with an "oh well, shrug of the shoulders" lets move on.

What i am seeing on MsM is a different attitude from the "remain camp", they cant move forward and are Disgusted and Amazed that the "leave" vote actually won this referendum, they are now quoting 49% 48% are still representative of the country. I'm all for that, it was nearly a 50/50 split, i recognise that, there was no majority (in the main) +1million in a country our size although legally a majority is still a country split down the middle.

Now, i have immigrants at work, been here for years and are now, for whatever reason, expect to be deported from the UK ....... perhaps they dont fully understand or are not fully informed, which in its own is sad from our and their governments perspective.

Until article 50 is submitted from a UK government, the Vienna Convention of 1969 holds true. Until article 50 is sent to Geneva nothing will change, anyone here will be allowed to stay (unless you commit some serious BS) YOU will not be faced with deportation now or in the future. Article 50 begins when it is submitted, no retrospective deportation [unless you are a radical) and if you have been in the UK for more than 5 years ......... does not have to be 5 years exactly, could be 6, 7 , 8, 20 etc, you will not be refused for permanent residential status.

All migrants currently in the UK, stop worrying, you are not, will not, cannot expect to be deported, look up Vienna Convention 1969. You are safe and more than welcome to be here and not hated because we UK Nationals voted "Leave" today ............. its all about the future

Thanks for your time

The last YouGov poll on the day was predicting a result almost exactly the other way round. 52% Remain, 48% Leave. If the final vote had worked out like that, I'm sure they would have insisted that it was valid.

I agree that we have to now get on with it. There really is no choice if we want our society to be worth a damn.

On the topic of those who are not British born but who somehow feel that they are in danger of being evicted, once again, I agree. We have to let these people know that the UK is their home, they qualified to live here under the British Government and as such they are here under the auspices of the British Government and the British people.

However some would like to spin this, this is NOT a mandate for racist views to come to the fore. We are better than that, we have always been better than that, and I believe we always will BE better than that.

That being said, the fear that some must be feeling at the moment is palpable. My wish is that these fears are laid to rest by actions and attitude.

That being said, here we are and...

Create a new Government Department that deals with deporting all the illegals, if they refuse to leave on their own volition then put them in camps...it worked for the Nazis.

I wish I knew how to respond to this but I really don't.

The words complete twat come to mind but they would of course be against T&C's.

Another word might be misunderstood, I would use this one myself as I really am not sure what you want to say.

I don't get it, I must be an idiot.

It didn't ....... 1945 changed that BS, are you suggesting we go Right Wing? i suggest we ALL (in British politics, including Nichola S and Natalie Bennett, ) get together, sit around and talk, perhaps that means that members of the public can sit in on and contribute

Change needed? change will happen! bring on Trump and Boris ......... at least we wont be using French AC Carriers shortly ........ not NATO, EURO
