America divided by... Bracelets?

You know I saw this bit of news on television the other day, and at the time I didn't offer much thought to the significance behind it. Apparently an American woman Berns Rothchild, recently had a brain storm to help further progress our nation's unity down the tubes.



Yes bracelets! Blue ones for demos and red ones for reps.



Aren't they cute together? Or perhaps we should question, does this picture sugar coat the potential for a disaster? Does America really deserve a political party identification bracelets right now? What's next? Should we all wear bracelets that indicate we're pro and anti-war citizens? That way instead of engaging in conversation over the matter, we can flash our bracelets and pass go?

SInce those livestrong bracelets came out there have been TONS of copies saying different things. "Support the Troops" "Dont Support the Troops" "Support a Cure" and of course the "Livestrong" ones that cause troubles at Hospitals because the Yellow bands get mistaken for the Yellow bands the hospitals use that say "Do Not Resusitate".

I dont see how people wearing a bracelet like the Livestrong ones would actually support a cure for cancer, cept the 99 cents that they cost.

Theres only Dem and Rep bracelets from these people??
