Bahahaha! My cat is my hero in that department. There was a little beetle bug on the floor yesterday and I wondered what he was looking at and trying to play with. I got a heavy book and smashed it!

I don't know it was black with orange. A beach bug. I can't find it!

Now, I have heard about the land equivalent of sand: Rubbing mud in any kind of sting. On hikes when I'm caught without sunscreen, I usually am able to find touch-me-not (jewel weed). The plant will reduce the damage done by the sun (several times I came away with no sunburn), and it also helps with stings, bites, and poison oak/sumac/ivy - never used it for ivy, as I'm immune to it.

I've already downed a couple aloe drinks - When I'm sunsick like I was today, those are the only things I can really drink apart from water.

So for tonight - all that's left to do is sleep, meditate, and heal.

And I don't mind the suggestions
