She finally started having more energy and her personality has pretty much come back, so she's doin good.

Edit: apparently the tears (tares) in the uterus is a rare thing, and it was touch and go for about 2 days. Had to remove her uterus. Like I said, she's pretty much all good now

Good to see you. Thanks. I haven't gotten to really play with it so far. The girls are still protective.

That's cool. I bet you were worried for a while. It's like one of your kids getting sick, at least that's how it is with me.

I know the crying jags. When I had to put down a couple of Our dogs, I would just break out in full on crying out loud! I felt so terrible puttin them down, but it was the best for them, at their times, to relieve them of a slow painful death..
I cried for days on end over all of that...
When I go, I don't want long drawn out. Would really like to go with a beer in one hand, something lit hangin from my mouth, and a bottle of tequilla in My other hand! PLUS having had MORE than My fill of ALL of those, and MORE!!! LMFAO!!!

Skid Mark
LOL I know how protective Mother dogs are!!
You will get your chance to play with the young one soon enough...

I'm gonna be a complete mess when it comes time for Bella. I agree, I don't want a long drawn out death. Just an "Oh look, a meteor...BOOOM!".

I would have, too. I would have been a complete mess.

When she starts getting around better I'll be taking her out with the big girls to go potty. She's not quite at that stage yet. I figure I'll do the new pet parent a favor with the potty training.

LOL Meteor!!

Hey I just did a search for one of our Shed friends Who is no longer a member here, here is his signature. I felt the second part of it to be relative to Our discussion here!

From Him:
"Beware the man with one gun as he probably knows how to use it.

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body-but rather to skid in broadside-beer in hand-thoroughly used up-totally worn out-and loudly proclaiming HOLY $#!T!!!! What a ride!"

We paper trained our pups, but that's because it's apparently not a good idea for puppies to go outside in -20C weather.

They might freeze their little "parts" to the ground. Getting them unstuck wouldn't be fun.

Skid!!!!
Great to see you.

I'm sure you've been around but ummm... I haven't so much. Glad you got through all those storms. That must have been rough. But on the plus side, that puppy sounds wonderful.

On our side of things, it was a bit scary. Especially with Dada's mishap the same night. But she's doing okay now.

I'm in Saskatchewan lol. Trust me, you don't want to come here. Every boring thing people say about it is true!
