My rat is dying I think. They don't live that long that I know of. She didn't seem to be eating much at all, especially her favorite treat. She ate a strawberry today though and went to town on that. I hate when animals die.

Just something small for the new Shed before I disappear back into lurker mode.


Kaelci stood by the arched window of the illusory tower she had constructed within the Shed, gazing out at the gentle sunlight that filtered through the wispy clouds that dotted the sky, a sadness beating within her heart as she ran her eyes over the scattered tree tops that led through to the thick and wild forest.

They had been here for too long, and they had not come up with any plans to deal with Azothinne and perhaps restore Sita to wholeness. How would they defeat a spider so big, so fast, so hypnotising and poisonous? How would they make their way back with Sita at the spider's side?

It seemed impossible and filled her with a despair almost unimaginable as she thought of her lost friend and the dark state of the forest. She felt as though she should just give up, never return, stay within the safety of the Shed forever! But that would be irresponsible... and wholly unlike the person she set out to be.

She would find a way through this anguish and despair, and she would triumph.

With that thought shining brightly within, a golden ray of hope beaming into her heart, she allowed a small smile to dance about her face as she continued to stare up into the clouds above. They would find a way.

Actually my weather station is saying it is only 91 here right now, at 553 pm. yesterday I think it was 102F. I have actually seen many 115F and at least one 117F here in the past. I work in a big steel mill. We have big vats of hot acid and boiling hot water to clean the metal, then there are several heaters throughout ther plant to keep the metal hot, dry, and pliable, so we can stretch it after we weld it. Its horribly hot in the plant. Like 130F in some areas on a hot day. I provide ice, and gatorade to all employees during summer. Each employee also has a small air conditioned office they can escape into as well

And so are most of the pics in here. Odd.

So I guess I will just describe what happened.

Blissfully taping my keyboard ready to settle in for a comfy hour. I am suddenly swept away, twirling far above the earth in a "craft" of some sort, with a subtle hum soothing my shattered nerves.
And then through tunnel vision I am again on solid ground with my key board, in a New Shed. Shed 8.
As my "friends" flew away, the whisper of the voices hung in the air, "Say Hello in the Shed, we know you all very well"

Any way that is how I got here.
