Very cool video and very very true.

My pen drive (that I carry around with my house and car keys), or my iPhone, or my TV, has more storage space than my first PC in the 90s.

(Holy crap I just made myself feel old!)

When I was a teenager back in the 1980/1990's, we had a TV series called "Tomorrow's World". Similar to Discovery 2000 in the USA/Canada. Everything from touchscreens to mobile phones, laser discs and the information superhighway.

Many of those things are long gone; ISDN, floppy disks, laser discs. Still haven't got HUD's for cars or lorries.

Now just imagine where tech will be 10 years from now. Provided we don't annihilate ourselves, and the global economy has some semblance of stability, I think the last ten years will look like baby steps compared to the next ten.

Although I really appreciate all (well most) of the technical developments we have now, I would still call it the present.

Too many cool features are still missing out in general life

Ive always hoped for Pets that poop dry sterile pellets, or evolve to use and flush the toilet, whichever is first
