I hope that "leave" wins. I can picture all of Britain giving the EU a collective one-finger salute.

We don't give one-finger salutes. We give two-finger salutes. That's Churchill's V-sign reversed, palm facing inwards.

Oddly I think that goes way back to when the long bowmen used to show their archers fingers to the enemy

This salute dates back to the English Longbowman who fought the French during the Hundred Years War (1337 – 1453). The French hated the English archers who used the Longbow with such devastating effect. Any English archers who were caught by the French had their Index and middle fingers chopped off from their right hand- a terrible penalty for an archer. This led to the practice of the English archers, especially in siege situations, taunting their French enemy with their continued presence by raising their two fingers in the ‘Two-Fingered Salute’ meaning “You haven’t cut off my fingers !”

I wonder if Cameron will resign??

A huge part of this came about because he was trying to keep his back benchers in line so if he loses this will he then be forced to leave?

I personally think he will quit?

what do you guys think?

I think it's possible. I'd prefer Boris Johnson as MP anyway.

Yea, Brexit not good for global finance at least in the short term.

Currently DJIA futures are showing it down almost 600 points (over 3%).

Not sure about FTSE.

Nigel Farage for PM, he got us here, and let's face it, the guy can argue and put the point across.

Mind you, what will become of UKIP once we have our independence? (If)

Fade into obscurity I think. The majority knows not much about their platform other than their Anti-EU stance. The rest of it is pretty crap upon close inspection.

In my filthy leftist view of course.

Yep, Anti-EU leftist. Don't let your heads explode.

EU Referendum Remain Camp Insulting, Attacking Nigel Farage

FIRST THEY ATTACK YOU THEN INSULT YOU AND YOU WIN.

I think they will remain as they are for a while and then eventually they will join up with the Conservatives, they were originally a bunch of back bench Tories anyway

That's one of the great fallacies of this campaign, that only the right want out.

Seems to be steady at 51.3% for Leave.

I think that'll reflect the overall result when this is all over.

A leave win, but not a massive one.

Good enough for me.
