So they have a serious disorder. The brain should match the body so I would say they have a disorder if they feel it doesn't. Even if I also had this disorder I would still be female.

No, they don't.

They may have a birth difference from "norm", but its normal for them.

It is not a disorder.

Yeah. Well, I guess creative brilliance is a disorder too. Since not everyone possesses it. It's not normal.

You said before it's good for me that I am normal and do not feel as if I should be man. If I felt that I was supposed to be born into a body with no arms and want to have them cut off is that not some sort of disorder or illness?
How would their birth be different from the norm? They will most likely be born male or female. You said the problem is with the brains correct? Then they have a disorder.

What does creative brilliance have to do with feeling you are in the wrong body?

Not much. What does being different have to do with having a disorder or mental illness?

It's not just being different. People with a disorder are not just different. They have a disorder. It's not just being different to want to change your sex because you feel you were born with the wrong one. Just like people who blind themselves because they feel they should be blind aren't just different.

Circular reasoning. You have just demonstrated that you don't understand the situation. This is not unusual, it is not easy to do so. But at least make an effort to learn more.

"Normal" covers a lot of territory. Unless you want to narrow it down to something specific. But be careful with that.

This is what I said:

Good for you.

Your brain matches your physical body.

Not the same with Gender Dysphoria.

The brain tells you who you are. The brain tells you what gender you are.

If you think I do not understand the situation then please tell me what I have misunderstood. I cannot learn more if that's all you say in reply.

I stick to what I said, It's not just being different to have a disorder. Are you telling me that because they feel they are born with the wrong sex and want to change it they are just being "different"? Are people that cut off their own limbs believing they shouldn't have them just being different as well?

There are better resources than me to learn from. One in particular on ATS who speaks from experience and a good deal of knowledge.

No, they are not "just being different" they are trying to be who they are.

This is a situation where you will not convince anyone to step back and look at the insanity of the situation. They have convinced themselves that people who claim to be transgender know that they are the wrong gender.

Never mind that every time I have asked a person who claims to be transgender to describe how they know what the gender they claim to be actually feels like, they never say anything. I would be very interested for a biological female to tell me how they know how a man thinks/feels/acts/behaves, or how a biological male knows how a female thinks/feels/acts/behaves.

I'm either called a hater, xenophobe, transphobe, or I am told that people who claim to be transgender are confused and can't give me a straight answer to my question.

In the meantime all I have seen is that people who claim to be transgender are suffering from a mental disorder that is characterized by abnormal social behavior and failure to understand what is real.

Going by the preponderance of the evidence, I would vote for the first three, combined.

So they have a disorder where the brain is not correctly telling them what gender they are and not matching with the sex causing them to feel they are born with the wrong one.

Oh, look, you're back.

Padlocked brain that refuses to accept anything that would require opening up to accepting credited documentation by specialists in the field of Gender Dysphoria.

Your opinions are still just your opinions, and lack any medical backup.

Not exactly, no.
As I understand it, the "wrongness" of their body is not necessarily the main issue. When it is, the dysphoria comes into play.

NO! Their brain is exactly fine. It tells them exactly who they are.

The brain tells you what gender you are.

Sometimes inutero during development of gender and physical sex - - - a small percentage will have a brain gender that does not match the physical sex body.

It is normal for them. It is not a disorder. There is nothing wrong.

The only real issue is what man (not nature) has chosen as society norm.

Yes, It also seems like a disorder to me I don't know why they don't want to call it that. It is ok to have a disorder and no one should treat them wrongly just like anyone else with one.
