How did George Carlin put it? Fascism pretending to be manners? Much the same way many of these men pretend to be women, and vice versa. Hey, just saying.

Eh, I once wrote a thread about how we should split up bathrooms into xx and xy bathrooms - I didn't keep following that line of thought, but when it comes to doctors, it should be pure chromosomes.

It would help in all situations. Doctors need to know the chromosomes a person has.

Xx
Xy
Xxy
Xxx
Yy

-in all cases, the doctor needs to know. And they can just use the persons name to alert them of their ailment.

No reason to address them as male or female or any of those terrible triggering words created from hell.

If it was a she, she wouldn't have prostate cancer thou.

You are completely missing the point. It's not as if they are not aware of the anatomy that they are born with, if anything they are more aware.

You know... For a place that openly discusses and embraces topics like aliens, God, chemtrails, conspiracies, the Mandela effect, niburu, etc...... You'd think that this wouldn't be a hard concept to grasp.

I'm embarrassed by the bigotry, intolerance, and close mindedness displayed on this topic.

LOL @ this - that's hilarious.

So I don't have any right to protect children in my family, but people like you, the education system etc have the right to forcefeed them nonsense about how it's fine to openly be deluded.

Yeah...that makes so much sense!

I pity any younger members of your family with you as a relative...who is happy to have them exposed to whatever.

Smoking drugs in front of me neice and nephew? Too bad they're not my kids, looks like they'll just have to deal with it!

Awesome role model.

Just to add, I am referring to an incident that happened. I did have a cousin who smoked something, or attempted to prepare something that he intended to smoke int he presence of my neice and nephew...and yes, I dealt with it.

And yes, my brother was grateful, as was my sister in law, and they rightfully upheald and supported my opposition to this.

Who the hell are YOU to tell anyone they've no right to be concerned about kids in their own family?

You're absolutely pathetic.

Of course transgenders know what their physical body is.

The lame scenarios in the doctors office, some have posted, are just stupid.

You know what, that proper got my back up - the damn cheek of it.

Let me tell you, it's extremely difficult to smoke anything when you've had several of your teeth knocked out.

And it will also be incredibly difficult for anyone to corrupt or brainwash my younger relatives when you're in hospital - enough said.

So much for people standing up for what's right being 'internet warriors' - do you often go around telling people how they should handle such situations within their own family?

I'm guessing not as you're still breathing, more's the pity.

I know my body...so what's your point?

Lot's of folks know their bodies, don't make them right, does it?

I know my body, I have male parts - I shan't name them, but they make me a dude.

Knowing your body means you look down and see something, and it tells you beyond any reasonable doubt what you are. If you see one thing and believe you're another...you can't know it as well as you think.

And you're gonna let your doctor check for pregnancy?

Really, just stop with the stupid.

So you see how STUPID medically treating someone as the opposite sex is.

I had a hysterectomy at 29, so that would be pointless.

Nice try though.

NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO

Transgenders are not ignorant of their bodies. Neither would their physician be.

Respecting a person for the Gender they identify with - - - - does not mean their physical bodies are treated as opposite gender.

To even imply that is stupid.

And I had a hysterectomy at 32. Of course, that has nothing to do with the point of discussion.

What is stupid is you taken by the BS presented by the OP and his far right click bait.

Read the actual rule by HHS.

All it covers is that there is to be no discrimination by the doctors as per Title IX.

Jesus, how the hell do you think it would work? Don't be a jerk. Prostate problems are usually checked with a PSA test when having blood work done. In anatomical males, a physical exam of the prostate is done rectally from what I understand? In the case of XY females such as myself, a doctor can feel the prostate better through the bottom of the vaginal wall from what I've read. I've never had that done. Estrogen is one of the treatments for prostate problems and in my case, the gland is atrophied and I've been taking estrogen for 43 years so I'm not too worried about it.

Having pap smears is no different than from when you have them. It isn't one of my favorite things and even though I don't have a cervix to scrape cells from, it is still something my doctor feels is precautionary as are mammograms and bone density scans. Women with my medical history at my age are at particular risk of osteoporosis and due to prolonged estrogen use, DVT as well.

Like I said earlier, just how stupid to you think trans people are? This isn't about treating someone as the opposite sex especially when there is a combination of physical characteristics, it is about being respectful of someone's gender as a man or a woman which is not the same thing.

Sheesh!
