I am very sad about this, please someone debunk this...

I remember this thing called the "wild west" that seemed full of break-ins, robberies, rape, violent crimes, and genocide. Plus, if you think about it, heading west and colonizing it was pretty much mass white immigration. So what time was he actually talking about?? I also remember hearing about a lot of violent crimes during the early 1900's as well, especially in regards to people fighting for workers rights.

Seriously, what time period is he hoping to return to?? Before human civilization??
