A 13 year old in America gets denied lottery tickets, cigarettes, & alcohol but is able to buy a gun

How the hell does this make any sense? Not old enough to buy booze, dirty magazine, lottery tickets or cigarettes but a gun no problem. SMH

Anyone who is denied that combination of vices is the absolute last guy that needs a damn gun!!!!

Get this kid some porno and a pack of smokes before he kills someone!!!! Are you nuts!!!

He obviously needs some kind of release so get him one that doesn't kill other people please. At worst all you'll need is a carpet cleaner that way.

Hunting age is around 12, and you need a weapon for that

Ironically if the 13 year old girl was filmed getting an abortion, how do you think the people at CNN would cover that?

Well, I was in a mood for something idiotic so here I am and I am not disappointed.
Question. Do idiots know they are idiots?

Well if she were denied it then there would be a fuss. If she got an abortion it wouldn't be on the news.

It is not about "guns are scary". How does it make sense to you that society has deemed children not old enough to buy those other things or to make a decision about sex/abortions but a deadly tool, hey no problem.

It makes perfect sense to me. Also, were any laws broken? His mother was accompanying him as well. What exactly is idiotic here? What is the problem?

Deadly against who...rather what. That bullet isn't particularly dangerous. Sure point blank and all, but honestly...

This is piece from 2014 and the purchase was obtained legally. Did the kid go nuts and kill people?? Nope.

Propaganda bs from CNN convienantly resurrected to fit a current narrative/agenda.

Most have either forgotten about this piece or have never seen it. I leaning more towards never seen it so considering the present climate, it's "shocking"..."appalling"...."irresponsible"...
Lol. Many are so easily fooled/swayed..

Well if you have a time machine, you could go back to 2014 and ask him.

Honestly, it would be easier to kill someone with a knife or a baseball bat than a 22.

It absolutely amazes me that the one item that would enable him to get that which was denied to him is the only item he was granted access to.

In other words, "Can I have a pack of smokes, that bottle of Beam, the winning lotto ticket and that gun there please?" " No, you're too young to drink or smoke or gamble - how many boxes of ammo do you want?"
13 year old takes aim at the clerk - "All of them, and I'll take the money in the cash register too and all the smokes and grog and lotto tickets"

You're right. I remember a comedian saying that a .22 is the perfect weapon home protection because then you can just spray essentially because it isn't exactly damaging...so you could just keep firing on the perp and it would I guess scare him/her off? I don't quite remember.

What bothers me is that this kid could have been anyone and he bought a gun with no checks. Could have been mentally ill, could have been heartbroken and wanted revenge...etc. Not about gun type, would he have been able to buy something worse with the same amount of security? Someone like Adam Lanza comes to mind doing the same thing without no background checks.
