Love Pact

I throw flower petals high to the wind,
Observe them as they dance and spin.
Watch them float around gracefully,
Landing softly to the ground next to me.

I bend down to see what fate they told,
The infinity sign and two hearts enfold.
A lovers pact, two souls bound together,
To love one another forever and ever.

And I know, I know this is you and me,
That this is the way our love's meant to be.
I gather the petals, throw them into the sea,
As I whisper "I love you" and "I'll wait faithfully" .
