On June 1st the Russian defense minister announced there will be about 2000 drills and exersizes during the summer months including 'dozens' of large scale exersises,there were recent readiness exersises so yes they are training also

The response I've gotten to this has been so overtly negative, it is utterly amazing. I did not say that the website I provided was the hands down authority on this issue.

I merely asked, Why?

The culture here is so fragile in it's rabid quest for intellectualism, and "truth". It draws a blind eye to all but what it sees as "truth", which is no better than those who suckle at the teat of MSM pablum.
