Just a theoretical: Say a guy has his name run --> warrants show and he is pulled over. Inside is the body of your mom/sister/brother (pick one ), a murder weapon, and a notebook written by him explaining his crazy plans. It turns out he snatched the person off a rural road, so no evidence of the crime exists elsewhere.

I don't have the answer to this, but I would be in favor of this interpretation being allowable if the evidence turns into a homicide-level case. The current interpretation is way too broad and far-reaching though IMO.

If the person had outstanding warrants already... then its a failure of police to begin with in not going and picking them up... meaning the body of mom, sister, and notebook wouldnt have even existed in such a state to begin with.

I have been pulled over a number of times in calif for weaving.
None of those times had i been drinking and most it was because of the bad roads and potholes.
Though a few times i know i was not weaving and had seen the cop hiding and watching for someone to pull over.

One cop pulled me over for weaving 3 times in 8 months and was hiding in the same dark parking lot all three times
I knew every time i drove through the town to look in the parking lot and watch that i was not doing anything wrong.

Maybe they are financing the paving of the road doing such a thing? Might sound nefarious but if thats how it works you can be proud youve helped pave that road more than anyone and may appreciate it more once its paved that anyone?

Might sound rediculos but hey thats human behavior and psychology in action.
