Jefferson Airplane and The Byrds". The movie industry moved with the times and produced movies that would appeal to this younger audience including "The Graduate" Bonnie and Clyde" and "Cool Hand Luke" . TV shows included "The Fugitive" and "The Monkees" and color television sets become popular as the price comes down and more programmes are made in color.

One thing is sure, the Astronomical discovery made on last April and confirmed this week , during this solstice, that since more than a century ago our earth has actually a second moon, an asteroid orbiting us, the asteroid 2016 HO3, is enough to claim that 2017 has changed our perception of our place in the outer space, and also that an Asteroid approaching our planet does not necessarily means the end of the world.

Astrological cycles work, but not like this! I have no idea what they're talking about -- and I doubt they do either!

The 1967 summer solstice full moon was at 0 degree 6 minutes Capricorn -- NOT Sagittarius; as well as different rising signs (for Washington DC -- Aries rising in '67, Pisces rising in 2016). Those are very different energies.

Further, this full moon is at the critical degree of 29 degrees; indicating an ending or culmination of some sort, along with a challenge or test so to speak. The 1967 full moon was in the first degree, indicating a beginning, along with new experiences and lessons to learn of some sort. Another significant difference is a mutable grand cross activated by the 2016 Sag full moon, but not by the 1967 full moon.

For our purposes, the most significant difference strikes me as the placement of Chiron (an asteroid) in the charts, with Chiron rising (in the first house) of the '67 chart, and in the 12th (last) house of the 2016 chart. This tells me that it's all up to us... we can and will "make it or break it" so to speak.

In a nutshell, we all need to take a good hard look within and without, face the ugliest and most painful truths about ourselves and the world around us, then embrace our flaws and turn those flaws into virtues. No more hiding or denying or sugar-coating the ugly truths. Both collectively and individually, we can -- and will -- "make it or break it."

If that's doom porn, then it's a self-fulfilling prophecy, and we have only ourselves to blame.

I think here there is a huge misunderstanding, I am not quite sure where this is coming from but just to be clear, I think it is needed to explain this very well again.

I never have claimed that the solstice started a violent era, it is instead sending to final outcome one that is already running since long time ago.

The idea is that this violent era can't remain for much longer, there is a moment in which the all the tensions involved in this drama must find their conclusion. To the contrary this is a signal forecasting the end of a turbulent one coming soon.

This does not mean that we are going to see the world in peace tomorrow, but just that the worst part of the storm is already back to us, and that certainly what ever happen tomorrow is going to be part of the ending of a really bad time.

The forces or factors that have been pushing forward or moving the agenda of the conflict are going to disappear soon, whoever is not in synchronicity with the arrival of a era of peace and harmony will be vanished of the horizon.

As the opening post clearly says this astronomical event is telling to us that a cycle is so close to its ending, that a period of agitation and violence is going to finish and the destructive energy that has been accumulated will trigger as final outcome great changes that will dramatically transform the current reality of the world, they will draw an entirely different scenario.

Take an example what happened in 1968: there were three terrible assassinations in America: Malcom X, Martin Luther King and Robert Francis Kennedy, all were after that solstice of 1967, but by 1969 America conquered the Moon, by 1970s finally Peace agreements were signed with the USSR and The Peoples Republic of China and even one in between Israel and Egypt.

You can't have it both ways. Either the special solstice is a landmark date in these eras, and therefore worth noticing, or it isn't.

The answer of your question is in some way simple, because it is not marking a beginning but announcing that in few time, perhaps
counted in just months and not years we are not going to be anymore in this same situation, is marking the end of a cycle of violence, confrontation, conflicts and economic or political crisis.
