I fail to see the correlation of giving money to a bloated government bureaucracy and reducing temperatures.

You're right, handing money to the government is not going to help anyone. Government is part of the problem, not the solution.

On the other hand, the other posters are correct--- climate change is real, we're contributing to it, and there's a real possibility that we're accelerating rapidly toward ironic, absurd, and existentially comedic catastrophe.

Anarchy.... I dream of it. Any day now....

Yes this "hottest month ever" must be an average temperature I would assume? And in that sense this average global temperature will continue to increase as Planet X approaches.

I noticed some people mention that it's cold or cooler for them atm almost as though they're trying to debunk this lol, but what is occurring is that the planet is 'wobbling' on its axis this is due again to Planet x. So basically The weather pattern is jumping from cool to warm every select few days perhaps 4? This occurs whether in winter or summer.

This wobbling is dragging the polar and equatorial vortexes out of position and in general the air is churned up back and forth, same principle is happening to the oceans. The wobble is increasing daily and it makes a few of these movements daily btw.

It's already been noted by the Inuit in recent times and also those following the earth changes. Sun and moon are out of position (the sun) setting too far north west (here) and not at the correct zenith. Moon is likewise seeming to move a matter of degrees, except it's not the moon moving its earth, also Sun sets and rises are also not on time.

Actually, the Moon is where it should be and the Sun rises and sets on schedule.

And no, Planet X is not approaching.

This is interesting, and very worrying...

No, it's not.

Just simple questions.

If climate change is such a dire danger to the Earth, then why aren't solution being done now?

Because there is opposition from powerful people whose narrow interests are challenged.

Why wait for an increase in taxes before doing anything?

There isn't, but changing taxation (it's revenue neutral) is an effective and economically efficient mechanism to instigate the large-scale changes which are necessary to mitigate the harm from the problem.

Why does the man made crowd NEED people to believe it?

Emotional needs or not have no place in the discussion---it is physical reality.

The planet has gone from hot to cold, back to hot, back to cold again, hot again, cold again, lather, rinse, repeat since it's been here. Ignorance isn't not buying AGW, it's thinking the planet exists as a static environment & always has. It hasn't, it's gone through it's figurative hyper and hypothermia spells over it's existence regardless of cause, and that's nothing new.
What's a gas is humans thinking half a century, or even a whole one, is an accurate snapshot of BILLIONS of years of Earth climate patterns. It's not. Only a dense fool thinks one pixel of a gigapixel image will show what the whole image is.

Instead of flapping hands & acting mental over a tiny-ass period of time & temperature, how about we focus on not s#ing where we eat. Doesn't take much, doesn't require number manipulation or arguments, only good waste management & a commitment to not being nasty gross polluters. Just be conscious that filth = unkind existence, & minimize it.

Yup. And all of that had physical mechanism behind it.

Scientists don't think that a century is a snapshot of billions of years of Earth climate patterns. But so what? A century of data and theory is enough to know a whole bunch about the current climate pattern, and if it were some kind of mythical "natural cycle" without human influence we would have found the signs of its physical nature in the data.

Can't stand the snow or cold.

Bring on the heat!!

Going away from fossil fuels is hard. It is engrained in to our society. It is also responsible for supplying millions of jobs world wide at the Tier 1, 2 and 3 supplies to just the automotive market (gasoline engines) would have to change. Old vehicles would have to be swapped out for new Solar/Electric/Hydrogen/Bio-diesel...etc. vehicles. This isn't something you can legislate. The drop for oil demand alone would bankrupt nations and cause poverty. Just the absence of coal mining in the US has caused lots of problems for industries that supported coal mining. There is a give and take to all of it.

Alternative fuels are not cost competitive until gasoline prices hit $4.00+ a gallon in the ALL of the US. We can make gasoline as cheap as we want regardless of the price of a barrel of oil. The way to REGULATE GAS prices is to NOT build refineries. You only keep so many functional and then you can manipulate the gas price no matter what at barrel of oil costs. If oil is $200 dollars a barrel, big deal, build more refineries, flood the market with gasoline, demand drives price. Barrel of oil is low, $50, oh, darn, two refineries are offline in the Midwest do to a mechanical failure, price goes up. Have fun overcoming this racket on you way to renewable energy.

I'm wondering how much oil is still underground and capped at the deep horizon sight.....2 miles down...it spewed oil for a very long time with 2 miles of water pressure on top of it.....

Sorry, back to global warming. Let's talk when we are finally out of oil....or at "peak" oil (another fun term) whenever that will be.
