And... how many candidates was Trump up against?

And how about Hillary?

Trump won against 16 candidates, many heavily backed by the GOP establishment.

Hillary could barely hold her own against one socialist in his 70s.

When there are 17 candidates, of course the spread total will be different than when there are 2 candidates. How many times have we had to explain this and some people are still in denial?

Now add all those other votes/delegates and you will see that trump gets his a** handed to him..
With all the other Republican candidates, they still could barely scrape up enough votes towards the presidency.
Clinton has almost more than them combined.

Did you seriously just link to the primary results showing that Trump won, and then say "Trump getting his butt handed to him"?

Shaking my head, because.... say what?
You do know that Trump has the delegates and is the presumptive Republican nomination?

The independents could not vote in most state primaries. Most will likely vote for Trump if they vote, because independents traditionally despise establishment, and Hillary is THE establishment.

Many Sanders supporters will either not vote or will vote for Trump, because they despise Hillary and what she stands for.

And many Republicans who did not vote for Trump in the primaries will likely vote for him in the general election because... well, Hillary.

So, we shall see

Donald Trump Will Be Buried in an Electoral Avalanche

Over the last two decades, American presidential elections have all been relatively close. But with Donald Trump at the helm, the Republican Party faces the prospect of a historic landslide closer to the creamings received by Barry Goldwater in 1964 (who lost by 23.6 points), George McGovern in 1972 (24.2 percentage points), and Walter Mondale in 1984 (19.4 percentage points). At this point, the only real question appears to be how huge (or beautiful—pick your Trumpian adjective) the margin will be

LOLing at the source.
What do you really expect from a liberal bias source? Of course they are going to have such opinions. That does not make it fact.

Why worry? That is one of the things that makes Trump the best candidate.
The GOP elite fear and hate him. Why? Because they don't own him.

National Poll Results Leaderboard

Trump loses at fox news too. He loses to either Clinton or Sanders.

Many have declined to help fund the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia as well, perhaps in an attempt to not make their decisions seem too partisan.

Or how about this, following that story it can just as easily be the other way around. As in, they dropped their support because of Hillary who is currently the headpiece in 1 or more criminal investigations and to not appear partisan they did the same with the other party.

But this is the op's direction, When they behave like that on the right it is Trumps fault but when they behave like that in the left then it is not because of Hillary but still Trumps fault...

You do know that you can find sources to represent your view, no matter what it is, right?
Do you really think that people on ATS are gullible to accept whatever opinions you link to as fact?

Maybe you should read this one:
I was wrong: Trump WILL be the next president

I could dig up tons more for you, but I'm not going to play that game.
Because linking to a bunch of Pundit opinions is not a very intelligent or productive way to debate.

How is opinion when there is actual data to back up the numbers that show Trump is losing support?

Numbers? Again, polls, which are not a count of everyone, are accumulated by often biased sources, and change daily.
Remember how in the beginning of the primaries, polls showed there was no way that Trump would win?

I respect your loyalty, however your opinion is as biased as the sources and based on emotion.
imo Trump has insulted the very people he needs to pull off this nomination. They don't give a **** about his popularity or his primary numbers. His arrogance will ultimately be his downfall. They don't play by the rules in DC.

Do you know what I find most amusing about this OP? It is the same MO that Hillary's campaign has been using, including in their ads, because they are completely oblivious.

They keep saying these kinds of things, thinking it is somehow a negative against Trump, when it is actually a positive, and is the exact same kind of thing that Trump supporters LIKE about Trump.

Seriously, Hillary and her campaign are naive and oblivious.

For example, there was a Clinton ad that was supposedly criticizing Trump, and almost everything mentioned were the reasons people are voting for Trump.
